THIRD PERSON

A couple weeks have passed, and lovebirds Nathan and Lindy had officially finished planning their wedding not too long ago. It was one big doozy. They actually argued over a few things, but that was easily made up with a kiss and wholesome conversation over dinner at home. What matters the most is that it's done, and the both of them were completely overjoyed. They wanted to get married as soon as possible, so they were able to move up the date by two weeks. Today, the date was February 1, and the two were to be wed on the 18th.

There was just over two weeks to prep and everyone was buzzed and ready. Except for one person, who shouldn't be too hard to guess.

Cameron has been struggling with moving on. He finds it much more difficult to stay away from her especially now that she's about to get hitched and commit herself to one person. One person, who wasn't him. That one person, who was Nate Wellington.

Sam and Cameron have been spending more time with each other, mainly after work, on the weekends or to quickly eat together on both their lunch breaks. Their friendship is stronger and Cameron appreciated that. He didn't have that many friends, because he wasn't a social person - well, not a social person when it comes to casually socialising. At work, his social skills were excellent. He was a man with a  passionate work ethic and valuable ideas and that's what makes him successful.

Isaac and Sam have been urging Cameron to partake some sort of speed dating in this week with some of his matches. So far, he's met up with three women for dinner and he wasn't interested in either of them, though the opposite goes for them.

Tonight, he was having dinner with a woman called Sadie. She had dark skin, short straightened hair and a tall body with curves that he admired in her photos. His type has always been black girls and red heads, in which most of his matches fit those two descriptions.

He looked forward to seeing her, but he didn't let himself get too excited as he knew that even after dinner, she'd remain an acquaintance. Also, for the reason that he concludes no woman compares to Lindy, no matter how beautiful, intriguing or well suited they may be.

Lindy was at home with Madison, Ellie, Anna, her mother and Logan. She had her dress fitting in approximately one hour and twenty eight minutes and the six were currently eating some carbonara that Cora made.

"Cora, this is lush." Anna said with a mouth full of food.

"Glad you're enjoying it darling. There's leftovers if you'd like them," Cora tells her. Anna nodded eagerly, saying that Sam would love it.

"Melinda," Cora says,

"Hmm?" Lindy responded, focusing her attention on her.

"You haven't eaten, hun." Her mother said, giving her a look.

"I don't want to be bloated for my fitting," Lindy replied. She then soon realised what she'd said, to her mother. When she was young, her mother wouldn't let her or her siblings leave the dining table till all food was eaten.

"Girl, eat your damn food." Cora retorted, making everyone laugh.

Lindy rolled her eyes at her, and picked up her fork, picking about at the carbonara before eventually putting it in her mouth. She began to eat a pretty fair bit and everyone else around her conversed, while Lindy, herself, was currently letting anxiety eat her alive. She loved her wedding dress. But she was afraid that she wouldn't look good in it.
