Harri cherished her new life, enjoying the freedom from the darkness that once surrounded her. She felt unburdened and was happy to take care of Matt, understanding the loneliness of having no one to turn to. Being two years older, she knew Matt might not always want her around, so she gave him space and acted more like a big sister.

A party was being organized in Mystic Falls to celebrate the Founding Families, with flyers posted everywhere. Harri wasn't interested in the party but attended the market stalls out of curiosity. She wanted to see how people spent their time when not working. After browsing through stalls filled with candles, cards, and jewelry, she decided she'd had enough and opted to go swimming on the hot day. She texted Matt to let him know she wouldn't be home until later.

Driving to the waterfall Matt had shown her, Harri dove into the clear water. Using a charm she learned at Hogwarts, she could stay underwater longer and breathe normally.

Unbeknownst to Harri, the Scooby Gang had followed her. They watched as she swam, with Stefan and Damon admiring her silently, aware of Elena's displeasure. When Harri didn't surface for air, Damon impulsively jumped into the water.

As a vampire, Damon had excellent vision both above and below water. He quickly located Harri swimming deeper and swam towards her. Seeing her eyes closed, he feared she had stopped breathing and pulled her to the surface.

Harri's underwater breathing charm broke as soon as she surfaced. Realizing Damon had pulled her up, she swam to the bank and asked why he did it. Damon explained they had been watching her and thought she had drowned when she didn't come up for air.

Meanwhile, the rest of the gang waited, hoping Damon would bring Harri to them. Elena hoped he would use his vampire abilities to gain Harri's trust and uncover her secrets, unaware that no vampire abilities worked on her. When Harri confronted Damon about his identity, the others tried to hide.

Harri, already aware of their presence, confronted them. "What are a Wiccan and a human doing with vampires?" she asked. Elena blurted out that both vampires were in love with her, shocking Damon and Bonnie with her self-centeredness.

Harri laughed, dismissing their feelings as mere infatuation. She pointed out that the vampires had lived for over a century and had loved others from their own time, suggesting their feelings were based on resemblance.

Damon and Stefan couldn't deny Harri's words and remained silent to avoid hurting Elena's feelings. Harri, feeling the need to resolve the situation, used a spell to dry herself and change clothes, leaving her hair wet. With a wave of her hand, she left the area and went home, unaware that someone was watching.
