Harri stood on her porch, waiting with a sense of anticipation. She expected the vampires from Mystic Falls to arrive, and her threat was serious if they didn't show up. Fear was not an issue for her; as the fabled Mistress of Death, she was immortal and could heal any injury. The only downside to her immortality was the constant threat of being hunted if anyone discovered her true identity and the power that flowed through her blood.

That morning, she had told Matt that she was expecting guests and wanted him to go out. She didn't want him involved in any unpleasant business and promised to explain everything one day. Although Matt was curious about her visitors, he respected her wishes and left, reminding her to call if she needed help.

Harri was grateful for her cape as the morning chill set in. At ten o'clock, she sensed the vampires' presence. Stepping out, she saw them scattered across her lawn, some hiding in the shade, others standing in the sunlight. Feeling pity for those in the shade, she cast a spell to allow them to stand in the sun as well.

She recognized Elijah, Klaus, and a few other familiar faces, including the Salvatore brothers. The dark-haired one smirked at her, and she knew he would cause some trouble, though not necessarily maliciously.

"Welcome, everyone. I am Lady Harriet Potter," she announced. "The first thing I want you all to do is take this blood pop." As she passed the blood pops around, she watched many of them slowly regain a more human appearance. Smiling, she continued, "I have more, but if you want them, you must ensure there will be no more human killings. If I hear of any human deaths, I will come for you. No pleas will be heard; you will be at fault. No humans will be turned on my watch. I will end you."

Some vampires found this fair. Harri offered them a chance to live semi-normal lives without harming others.

"I am the Mistress of Death," she declared. "You may have heard of me. I control who dies and will only kill those at fault. If you have any issues, come to me. I came here for a peaceful life, and the last thing I need is vampires being born everywhere."

She noticed some unhappy faces in the crowd and vowed to keep an eye on them, sensing trouble ahead.

As the vampires left, Harri returned to her house, deciding to work on her potions. It was time to prepare for emergencies and brew some blood-replenishing potions.
