Soon enough, Flynn was up to his usual ways. It had only been a day since he'd woken up but he already had the file in his hands, ready to look through the last few pages that he hadn't gotten around to reading with Dawn.
With her small frame sitting next to him and a mug of hot chocolate that he'd been looking forward to since he'd woken up, he finally looked at the last two pages that were in the booklet, Dawn's eyes also fixated on the last two pages.
"Ok then, D, let's find out the rest of Damon's secrets."
"Hmm," she mumbled, holding one of Flynn's hands in her own, "Don't you think we need to tell Damon soon?"
"Oh, I already know. After we're done reading this and after doing a little research on my own, I'm going to tell him everything I found out. It's only fair after all, he doesn't really like it when people keep things from him."
"Why can't you just tell him now?"
"I don't know, I don't want him to over react without knowing all of the facts first, I guess."
With a final breath, they opened up the last two pages but Flynn definitely wasn't ready for what he was about to see.
The file had contained many pictures of many missions and other documents detailing many seemingly successful missions. Although Damon wasn't exactly Rider anymore, the mission from last week had still come up on the file, a debriefing file taking up the next two pages.
Sure, there wasn't much information but one thing he had noticed was that in small print under one of the paragraphs, there was a little statement:
More detail under Eagle's name in agents file.
"Erm, Dawn? Want to explain to me who Eagle is?"
Dawn looked puzzled at the question, expertly hiding the fact that she knew exactly who Eagle was but she had strict orders. Flynn would not find out who he is until after the party.
"No? Ismail had never really mentioned it to me before. It might just be the debriefer."
Flynn really tried to read her face but nearly every tell that he had memorised on her face seemed to have not shown up.
"Ok, I guess that makes sense."
"Look, we need to tell Damon what we've found and we need to do it soon because if he really hates having things hidden from him as much as you say, then we're really going to be in trouble if he finds out, you know?"
"Ok, I guess I'll tell him when I get the next proper chance to."

Aniyah didn't really know what she was doing but she had found herself jumping around her room, trying to find absolutely any reason that she could to move around at the point.
It had at least been half an hour since she had woken up, her thoughts still jumping back and forth between each of the things she'd been told before. As much as she didn't want to think that what she had been told was true, it made a lot of sense. Flynn and Damon suddenly being pro fighters, Damon healing that quickly from a bullet wound that should still have probably been in its first stages of healing, the fact that neither of them had taken their medicines over the last week and a half, it all pointed to the fact that what Ismail had said was true.
Sure, it was a little bit annoying that he had kept this from her for so long but in the end, he didn't have a choice but now that the Captain was gone as well as Guy, he didn't have anyone stopping him from telling Aniyah anything.
