Demi's pov-
Nick and I have been sitting in this police station for who knows how long. Nick has to answer all the questions because I'm too shaken up to answer any of them.
They finally release us, and as soon as I step out of the police station I see about 5 police cars chasing a car.
"That's the car!" Nick shouts. "Paige must be in there."
Nick and I jump into my car and we're soon following the police. The police finally corners the car and a nice looking man walks out. He looks like a rich, snobby person. The police pull out their guns, and all the man does is smile.
"Where's the kid?" A police officer shouts. The man doesn't answer but instead takes a gun out and points it at Nick and I.
"Put the gun down sir," another officer commands. The man pulls the trigger and Nick pushes both him and I to the ground. About a billion gun shots are heard and I get up slowly.
"Did you get hit?" Nick whispers .
"No did you?" I ask. He shakes his head no. "Paige must be in the back" I think . Nick and I walk over to the police officers who are checking the whole car. One of them says something to the other and a frown grows on his face. Uh oh. This can't be good.
"Did you find her?" I wonder a little excited.
"I'm sorry Demi, but she isn't in here." He replied looking at me sorrowfully. I nod and crash my face into Nick's chest letting out loud sobs. Will I ever find my happiness again?
