Paige's pov-

Today is my first day of school, and mom insisted on dropping me off. I'm wearing spirit wear sweats, and a Demi world tour sweater. "Paige come get breakfast." Mom shouts from the kitchen startiling me from my first day worries. I skip down the hard wood steps walking in on a heated make out session between my parents. I cough loudly causing dad to yelp. "Oh shit sorry Nick." Mom mutters fixing her hair, and walks away awkwardly. Did she bite his tongue? I walk up to dad, and pat his back to reassure him that I've seen worst between him which causes him to grow even more red than before.

I walk over to the island and grab an apple. "Aren't you going to eat some real food?" Mom questions me. I wave the apple in the air with a small smile on my face before taking a huge bite out of it. I practically run up the stairs to my room before mom can give me a lecture about how I should be eating a real breakfast. I know she thinks I'm struggiling again, but it's just first day jitters, and I don't want to eat anything big that will make me sick, and cause me to puke later.

It's eight now, and mom and dad are going to drive me to school. As I sit in the back I quietly pray that they won't make embarrass me. We finally pull up at 8:15, and I run out of the car shouting "I love you" to them before they can say something to me.

I walk into school trying my best to not to some freak who's afraid of everything. A friendly reminder is that the last time I was in school I was bullied, or was the bully, and well we all know what happened from that mess.

I look at my schedule seeing I have advanced geometry first. Great, I hate math; but god had to bless me with the talent of being really good at it. I wander the halls looking for my locker. I finally find my locker, and place all of the folders and notebooks for my afternoon classes in the locker. When I turn around I see a redhead standing in front of me. She has the biggest smile on her face. "We moved." She says causing me to realize who she is.

I throw my arms around her neck trying my best not to squeal in excitement. "Tina!" I exclaim hugging her tightly. Tina is my friend from Cuba. Her cuban accent practically gave her away though because the last time I facetimed her she was brunette.

Luckily Tina and I have all classes together besides the specials. Tina really made my first day back at real school better. I also made a bunch of friends, and the best part is they all don't know I'm Demi Lovato's daughter. Which is kind of surprising since I'm known all over twitter, and I was just at the VMA'S ,and all the kids talked about was the VMA'S today. Tina is the only person that knows I'm Demi's adoptive daughter. Some other kids might know, but the ones I talked to today had no idea.

I invited Tina over for dinner tonight, and I also offered that we could drive her to my house. Mom knows who Tina is, but she doesn't know what she looks like, so mom will probably think she's a fan.

Tina and I walk to the car together laughing over the kids making out behind the tree. "Hey ma." I say to my mom as Tina and I enter the car.

"Hi Ms.Lovato." Tina waves with a big smile.

Mom leans over, and whispers in my ear "Who is that?"

I laugh and say "Tina from Cuba." Causing mom to mouth "Oh", and drive back home.

We reach home, and Tina and I go up my bedroom after I intorduced her to my parents. When we reach my room, Tina plops on my bed. "How did you get stuck with two talented adoptive parents?" She sighs pulling out her phone probably to call her mom.

I lay down next to her and say, "I've told you the whole sob story over facetime remember?" Tina nods her head, and tells her mom that she's here.

When dinner is done Tina and I go downstairs, and I could tell she doesn't feel well, but I don't want to say anything in front of mom because she'll make it way more serious then it needs to be. After dinner Tina exuses herself to the bathroom, and mom and dad compliment how nice of a girl she is. I zone out listening to see if I hear any peculiar sounds from the bathroom. That's when I hear it. Gagging.
