"Charollet!" I scream her name from across the hall. She doesn't turn around. Hmm I guess she didn't here me I think to myself. "Charollet!" Still nothing. I start to walk towards her but it seems the closer I get to her the farther apart we become. I start to run and I still get no where. I fall to my knees in frustration."Charollete." I whisper to myself as I let the tears fall from my eyes." I need you." All of a sudden I feel a hand gently grasp my chin and slowly start to lift up my head and "Levi wake up dude it's time for school!".
"I hate you" were the only words I could muster up at that moment.
"Excuse me?" He says not knowing what the hell was going on.
You just interuppted the best dream I've had in years. Not a dream about the foster system or Kyle for once in my life, but a dream about..." I have into nothingness as I recall the dream. Sure nothing really happened between us in the dream, unless the person who was lifting up my head was "Charollet."
"What?" I questioned
"Let me guess, the dream was about charlotte." He said.
"Yes it was." I said slowly still somewhat dumbfounded by how he could know. "How did you know?" I take a gamble.
"Well, you've been crushing on her this whole weekened and you talk in your sleep. I lost a solid half hour of sleep because all I could here was "Charlotte, Charollet, Charollet come back."
"Hahaha"I gave a pitiful laugh "sorry buddy." I apologize.
"It's fine. Now get up. We only have 45 minutes to get ready." he says.
I sit their still dazed from sleep. As he's walking off he says in a sing songy voice "you get to see Charollet today."
At those words I snap out of my daze, hop out of bed, grab some clothes and rush to the bathroom. After a solid 10 minutes I'm out and headed to the door.
Before O could open it Dylan screams "Levi, your backpack!" Right I think to myself and grab my backpack from beside my bed. As I run to the door Dylan screams again.
"And your shoes!"
I look down at my feet and mentally face palm myself. I run back to the bed and grab my pair of sneakers from under it. After that I run back to the door and look behind me to make sure Dylan isn't gonna say anything else. As soon as I see him walking to the door, I'm off. I'm coming charollet.
