His Light Will Never Fade

His light blossoms in the darkest night.
It seeps into the colorless void.
The world it squirms beneath the bright
As they try to hide in darkness.

They cower in their comfort
Though His light blossoms in the darkest night
As rains fall down throughout the earth,
The light is thought to flicker out.

So many turn to selfish things
And hope to hide beneath the clouds
But still His light blossoms in the darkest night
And shines through storm and gale.

As time goes on the world will fade
This life will age and turn to grey;
But when all seems cold and dreary,
His light will blossom in the darkest night.
