What has happened to my America?
I thought that this was a land of the brave and home of the free.
What has happened to my freedoms?
I thought that could I share my voice without fear of it being silenced.
What has happened to my fellow citizens?
It seems that so many have lost their sense of reason.
What has happened to the Truth?
It seems that most have traded it for twisted lies.
What has happened to my country?
I thought I knew what she stood for and believed in.
What has happened to her faith?
I thought that she trusted and relied on God Almighty.
What has happened to our foundations?
Our forefathers are turning in their graves.
What has happened to their America?
I ask but I do not know,
Instead I say:
"We must pray for America."
