Nishinoya Yuu - Scaredy-cat

"GET THAT THING AWAY FROM ME!" Noya yells.

"Come on, Yuu-chan, it's just a bug!" You exclaim as you stretch your hand, showing the little ladybug. "It's so cute!"

"It flies! And has dots! What kind of animal has dots?!" He asks as steps away from you.

"Leopards have dots too!" You protest, careful not to close your hand.

"But you are not seeing one here are you?!" Noya asks, almost about to cry just because of the insect you were holding.

"Geez, Yuu-chan," You giggle. "You're such a baby."

"I'm already 4 years old!"

"I know." You lift your hand, giving the bug a soft blow. You follow the ladybug with your eyes as it flies away. You wave your little hand, Noya watching the bug's very move. "Bye bye!"

That was the memory that came to your mind when you first saw him for the first time after 11 years.

And, God, how he changed.

The scared-cat that you once knew no longer existed. Instead, it had been replaced with a boy full of confidence, that wasn't afraid to say what he thought. You almost didn't recognize him. Almost.

It was much better than him. Noya didn't recognize you at all.

I guess that's to be expected. You had moved away a short while after that memory because of your father's job. You made new friends, new memories but somehow, you never forgot Yuu.

You used to be a huge tomboy when you were little. Short hair, always with your clothes dirty, defending the ones who needed to be defended, hunting bugs and such. When you got to middle school, you gradually changed. You started taking better care of your figure, calming down your temper and letting your hair grow. It was now by the middle of your back.

Now you were back, at the town where he had met him. You hoped to meet him again and indeed you did. Just the not the way you expected.

You were going down the hall, searching for your new classroom. You were a transfer student and you were struggling to find the classrooms, always looking down at your map. You stop, realizing your map had been upside down the whole time. The classroom was on the opposite side of where you were.

"Tsk." You say, annoyed. What a great first day.

When you turn around, someone bumps into you, making you lose your balance. The person catches your wrist, preventing you from falling and you look up. It may had been 11 years but Noya's face was still vivid in your mind.

"Sorry, I wasn't watching!" He apologizes, letting you go.

"O-Oh, don't w-worry." The shock was making you stutter. "It's okay."

He smiles brightly. Then, his face changes. "Hey, have we me-"

"NOYA-SAN!" A bald guy yells, appearing out of nowhere, wrapping his arm around Yuu's neck. "I have great news! Kiyoko-san needs help to hand some really heavy books. And I, as your wingman, have decided to share this vital information with you so that we can help her!"

Yuu's eyes seem to twinkle. "We can't waste anymore time, Ryuu! Kiyoko-san needs us. That's what men do!"

Noya turns to you. "See ya!"

Before you could say anything, he was already running with that Ryuu guy, to find that famous Kiyoko-san.

His personality... was all wrong. His voice too deep and loud. His height too short for a boy. You were about the same height as him.

But...

"That was Yuu-chan," You babble. "Wasn't it?"

You knock on the door and you hear a 'Come in'. You open the door.

"Ah, (Y/N), I was getting afraid that you were lost." Your teacher says.

You make an apologetic smile. "I was but I was able to find my way."

"I'm glad. Now step in and present yourself to your new classmates." You take a few steps, stopping right in the middle of the room, scanning the unknown faces. Only one wasn't unknown.

Your eyes widen as Noya stares at you, his eyebrows furrowed like he was in deep thought. Probably thinking of 'Kiyoko-san'.

"Hello, everyone. My name is (L/N) (Y/N) and it's a pleasure to meet you all." You bow and suddenly hear a strange sound.

You look up only to see everyone looking at Noya, who had gotten up from his seat, his eyes shining with recognition.

"(Y/N)-chan?!"
