"(Y/N)?"

First loves are never easy to forget.

That's what you realized when you looked up and saw him. The man that, at a point, you had been willing to do everything for him.

"Asahi?" You call, taken aback by his presence. He just stands there for a few moments, staring at you as you stare back at him. Both of you were too shocked to talk.

He blinks. "Wow... I would never guess that I would see you again." He says as he goes around your table. You get up and hug him, taking in his scent, his presence. You hug him hard, to make sure he was real. He hugs you back, his strong arms gentle as he enveloped your figure.

After a few moments, you pull back, and invite him to sit with you.

"Do you want anything?" You ask as you smile at him.

He smiles back. "I'll order a latte." The waitress came and took his order and then came with the latte.

"So," You ask as he sips his drink. "What are you doing here?"

"I have come to visit some family that lives nearby." He answers taking the cup between his hands to warm them. He looks down. "I had forgotten that you had moved here."

"I could have moved somewhere else anyway." You say as you relax against your chair.

"Five years." He says as he stares at you and you know exactly what he's talking about.

"How is it possible that it has been that long?" You ask, feeling nostalgic.

Asahi had been your first love. You two had met on your first year of high school and fell in love a few months later. He had been your first kiss, your first date, your first time experiencing all those feelings. You loved him and he loved you.

But in your second year, your had to move away because of your mother's promotion. You had broken up with him, not wanting to let him be chained to you by the distance and feelings. Asahi deserved to move on and if fate wanted you two together, fate would work its ways. You knew you had been a bit selfish but it's not like you didn't suffer - you cried for a week.

You never expected that you meet him again years later, in a coffee shop of all places.

"I don't know." He answers. Asahi had longer hair now and he didn't tie it up now. His clothes were casual and he seemed more muscled now.

He continues handsome.

"How has your life been?" Asahi asks as he smiles and you answer, telling him everything since the day you left Miyagi.

Eventually you left the coffee shop and you asked him about his own life as well. It lasted hours your conversation.

"Yeah, I remember hearing that Karasuno went to Nationals from some of my classmates. I was so proud, Asahi." You say as you two walk side by side along a sidewalk near a park.

"You heard?" He repeats, surprised.

"Yeah. I saw some videos on your matches. You were incredible."

It was getting dark but you saw him blushing as he scratched his cheek. "Thank you. It makes me happy to know that you looked out for me like that. That you didn't forget me."

"Forget you?" You ask as you stop, shocked. "How could I forget you? You were one of the most important people of my life. I loved you, Asahi. That isn't something you forget so easily."

He stops as well, his eyes gentle as he looked at you. "I know. I loved you as well, (Y/N) and I never forgot about you. And I'm really glad I met you again."

You hold his stare. There was a question you really wanted to ask him and you gather the courage to do so.

"Do you have any girlfriend?"

He blinks, surprised by your question. Asahi shakes his head. "No. And you?"

"I don't have any girlfriend." You smile maliciously and he laughs.

"So funny."

"No, I don't have a boyfriend." You answer as you start walking again. "I never found anyone again that made me feel... what you made me feel. And I really tried."

You feel a hand enveloping yours and you turn, looking at his beautiful eyes. "I feel the same way."

It was like there was something that was attracting him to you because, ever so slowly, he started leaning toward you. And you leaned toward him as well, closing your eyes.

His lips were still soft and gentle. It was like the last 5 years never happened and you were 17 again, enveloped in the arms of your boyfriend. You arms go around his neck and his arms around your waist, pulling you closer to him.

You both pull away and touch your foreheads.

"Wow... It's like time had never passed." You comment and he smiles.

"You really are the only one who makes me feel this way." Asahi says and you nod, not knowing what else to say.

"Hey," He calls and you look at him. "This time, I won't let you go, you hear me? I don't care if you push me away."

You giggle. "I won't. I want to be with you, Asahi. I thought my feelings had changed but they have not."

"Mine either."

As he kisses you again, you think that your life was just starting again. You knew you two had a lot to catch up and that things were going to be different since both of you were not the same people you were 5 years ago.

But as he lips moved to the side of your neck, you realized you more than happy in welcoming the change.
