Your P.O.V
I opened my locker and got all my stuff so that I could finally leave this hell hole behind for another day. Well, not entirely. Betty and Veronica were prepping for their try-outs that afternoon and I was actually quite excited to see them perform. I still needed to talk to Cheryl anyways and this was the perfect opportunity to get her alone. "Hey y/n. You coming?" Archie asked now suddenly standing next to my locker. "Actually, I'm staying to watch Betty and Ronnie try-out for the Vixens. Wanna join?" He seemed to think about it at first. "Yeah sure, why not."Not 10 minutes later we opened the door to the gym hall. I could hear the girls argue over something the moment we stepped into the room. "Check your sell-by date, ladies. False lesbian kissing hasn't been taboo since 1994." Lesbian kissing? What, who, where. "Arch, what did we just walk into?" We laughed it off and took our seats on one of the bleachers.
"So let's see if you do better with the interview portion of our audition." Right, okay, we missed the dancing part.
"Betty. How is your sister doing?"
Cheryl asked. "Polly is fine, thanks for asking." Betty answered in an uncomfortable state and I couldn't blame her. The readhead now turned to Ronnie.
"Veronica. Has Betty told you about her sister yet?"
Betty was getting more uncomfortable by the second and I could literally feel the tension in the room build up. Ronnie wondered what Cheryl was talking about. "Uhh, no she hasn't." Again Cheryl turned to Betty. "Go ahead, Betty. Tell Veronica about your sister and my dear brother." Archie nudged me and pointed at Betty's hands. "It's a habit of hers when she gets angry." She was literally pushing her nails into her skin by this point. Betty turned her head to Veronica to confess that Polly and Jason had indeed dated. Cheryl in that case scoffed about her answer. "I wouldn't say dated." Why is she doing this? I had to step in or at least do something before this was getting out of hand.
"Ladies!" I yelled from the bleachers to get their attention. Archie asked me what I was doing, but quickly shut up when heads turned towards our direction. "What's going on here?" Betty seemed relieved to see us which was exactly what I wanted. "Who is asking?" Cheryl turned around to answer her question. We locked eyes and I meant to keep them locked for as long as I possibly could. "Bombshell! What a surprise to see you here." I said with a grin. She seemed to be surprised about my presence. "How are the try-outs going so far?" Archie joined in and I was so greatful that he did. "Actually, we were just about to wrap up." Ronnie answered. "Weren't we, Cheryl?" Our eye contact broke and I decided to come down there. I walked down the stairs and went to stand next to Betty who I knew needed support the most right now. "Thank you." She mouthed to me and I just nodded an "Of course." I put my arms around her and gave her a hug, just like we did that morning. "Well, Betty. We're on the team!" Archie, Veronica, Betty and I were cheering, but Cheryl was really mad. I could just feel her eyes put daggers in my back. "Shoo minions, I need some privacy." She waved her two clones away and they left the room on command. Arch, Ronnie and Betty also made their way out which left me in the situation I so badly wanted: Cheryl and I were finally alone now.
"Gotta say, you look beautiful today."
She rolled her eyes as she smoothly turned around to walk towards the dressing room, flipping her hair in the process. "I know." I followed her and quickly went to stand in front of the door she was about to leave through. "Where do you think you're going, gorgeous." She fakely smiled at me and looked me over before pushing me out of the way. "Nowhere you should know about, now please go and irritate someone else somewhere else." I fakely acted to be hurt and she didn't give it one bit of attention. She looked over her shoulder with an decieving look. "Oops." One of her pom-poms fell on the ground *by accident* and I knew exactly what was about to happen.
"Don't, Blossom."
I bit my lip as she bent over to pick the object up. That was it. I walked over to her and just as she turned around I surprised her with a heated kiss. I could feel her hands in my hair and the sweet taste of cherry on my tongue. She put her legs around my waist and I pushed her up against the wall. I put my hands on her ass for support making her moan in response. "Oh god, guys?" I really hoped this moment would last forever, but of course it once again didn't. Jughead leaned against the door of the hall looking at us with a grin on his face. Veronica and Archie came around the corner too with shocked looks on their faces. "I'm sorry are we interrupting something?" Jug asked. I sighed still being out of breath from the intense make-out session we just had. I grabbed my phone to check my face of any red lipstick that might have left a mark. "Actually, Jughead." Cheryl spoke up saying his name in disgust. "You are." I finished for her.
"Y/n can I talk to you for a second?" Archie asked and I nodded following him to the benches after I gave Cheryl a quick peck on her lips. "I'll see you later." She winked in response and I almost fainted because of it. I sat down on one of the benches and Archie joined me. He seemed really worried.
"I need to tell you something about Cheryl."
