Your P.O.V.
Walking through the halls of Riverdale either makes you feel like a hero or like a butterfly too afraid to fly. When I arrived at Riverdale High I was very happy to find out that my locker was located at the very beginning of the long hallway. At my last school in Northridge I had to do the walk of shame every single morning. I didn't get bullied, but the last thing I wanted everyday was people to watch me walk past them for 2 minutes straight. Elia, my best gay friend, and I had the best of times at that school though.

"Hey stranger."

There was Jughead standing next to me now, leaning against the lockers. "Hi!" He smiled at me as if he was waiting for something. "What is that about." I asked pointing at his face. "Well, my favorite niece, there's actually something I've been wanting to ask you." That's when I got scared. "Ok sorry I'll be more serious now. The Serpents are having a fun get together next week, at the Whyte Wyrm. I'll actually be there to do a speech and all that." He bragged which only made me roll my eyes. "Spit it out cousin." I closed my locker and started walking towards the chill room. Jughead quickly followed me by sprinting to my side. "I need you to take care of my trailer for the weekend. "Wait- where are you going to sleep then." I stopped in my tracks looking at him with confusion. "Well actually, I am sleeping over at Toni's." My mouth fell agape. Last time I checked he was still in a relationship with Betty. "I know what you're thinking, and just for the record, Betty and I are on a break right now." So that gave him the right to jump on Toni for the meantime? "Jug, this is so not you. You would never break up with Betty, and not to mention jump on the next best thing that comes on your path. "Look, do you wanna have the trailer for youself or not." I mean the offer was great. 2 days all alone with Cheryl? It's a dream come true. "Fine." He "thanks cuz" me and sprinted off into the crowd of students again. I shook my head not understanding anything of what just happened, and walked into the classroom. It was time for yet another class by Ms. Harper, but at least Toni was in the class with me." I saw her sitting in our usual spot: in the back behind Daryl. "Hey girl." Toni was busy typing away on her phone until she heard my voice. "Hey." She smiled up at me. "So, Jughead?" I wondered out loud as I sat down and grabbed the books from my bag. "Yeah, I offered him a place to sleep this weekend." Toni said before she put her phone down and grabbed her books too. "Why? He has a perfectly fine trailer to sleep in." Not me getting angry at all. "He- told me his dad was staying over next weekend." So Jughead lied to me, GREAT. "Well he told me, that I had the trailer for myself that weekend." Toni connected the dots and as soon as she did, her eyes grew wide. "Did he think we were gonna-" We then bursted into laughter. "I don't want to sound mean, but it's Jughead." She said emphasising his name. That's when our favorite teacher in the world came walking in. "Ok class! Open your books on page 117 please."

"I swear to god, this mac & cheese tastes like literal heaven." Jughead said before stuffing his face with the food again. "You're a pig man." Archie spoke which made Toni and I share a look. "What was that?" Veronica said pointing between us two as she was holding her drink to her mouth. "Nothing, I love your top today Ronnie. It looks so good on you!" I said quickly trying to change the subject. She looked at me, suspecting something still. "Yeah where'd you get it?" Toni joined the convo trying to save our asses. "My mom gave it to me last week." She said looking down at the clothing. Nice save Topaz, I thought. "Hey you guys." Betty chimed in as she put her tray down. We all stopped what we were doing to look at the girl. Her hair was up in a messy bun, make-up poorly done and she was wearing joggers to school. I think it was safe to say that Betty wasn't the person who'd go to school without wearing skinny jeans. "Hey Bets." Veronica carefully said to the girl. Cheryl then barged in wanting all the attention she could get. "Hey losers, guess what." She looked really good, as always. "What." I asked casually shoving another fry in my mouth. "You are all invited to a Blossom sleepover at Thistlehouse!" Even though that sounded amazing, Betty was sucking all the happiness out of the room. Veronica put her hand on Betty's shoulder for support, which the blonde gladly took. I think we all knew it was about her breakup with Jughead, since it got really silent from where he sat too. "Wow Betty you look horrible." Classic Cheryl. "Thanks, Cheryl." Betty bluntly responded as she tried to take a bite from her salad. "Cheryl." I whisperingly yelled making her head shoot towards me. "Sit down." Of course everyone could hear me, but Cheryl somehow couldn't read the room and I had to do something. She rolled her eyes and quietly sat down next to me. "Read the room, woman." I said with disbelieve in my voice before giving her a fry. "Sorry, what'd I miss." Kevin scooted over to Cheryl and explained the whole thing. Thing was, he failed to whisper. "So Jughead broke up with Betty and she's heartbroken. She looks horrible today, so obviously it was a breakup." Jughead nodded not believing how awkward the situation had gotten. "Imma head out people." Archie said probably being late for something again, and Jughead quickly followed suit.

That was awkward.
