Your P.O.V.
The next morning Betty randomly decidede to join me on my daily stroll to school. She texted me in the morning and asked me to meet her in the park. We had never met up to do anything together, so this was ought to be fun. I arrived a little early and listened to some music as I sat on one of the benches in the small park. "Hey." She had her hair up in a ponytail as always, wearing a cute skirt and a pink long-sleeve. I took off my headphones to greet her back and we started walking together. "What were you listening to?" Betty asked me, curious about my music taste. "Uh, hip-hop mainly." She nodded. It looked like she was taking in the information, thinking about it a little.
"Ok, I know we usually don't do this, but I wanted to talk to you about Veronica." Yup. There it is. "Why, did something happen to her?" My eyes grew wide when Betty didn't answer me right away.
"Betty. Is she okay." I sternly asked before she looked at me and nodded.
"Yeah, yeah she's fine. She's actually really happy." She sounded stunned. And I had a small suspicion of the reason why Veronica was this happy all of a sudden.
"I kissed her." I just threw it out there and stopped in my tracks. As Betty was still rambling on about how surprised she was about it, my words finally reached her.
"Wait, what?" I took a deep breath and continued walking again.
"She kissed me 2 days ago, and I kissed her back." Betty seemed pleasantly surprised, playing with her ponytail as she questioned my way of speech.
"Why are you so chill about it. I mean, are you though?...chill about it. I mean what about Cheryl? Does she know about this?" I quickly cut her off.
"No, she doesn't. I'm gonna tell her today." Betty nodded, smacking her lips.
"Good." After all, Veronica was her best friend. She was showing her protective side, but Betty wasn't done talking.
"There's one thing though, y/n." She stopped walking and turned to me, changing up the whole vibe. Her tone was serious now and it was kinda freaking me out, ngl.
"If you, so help me god, hurt Veronica in any way. I will end you. Understood?" Wow Dark Betty came out for a second there.
"Yeah, yes, yup. Won't do that...ever." She then put on a smile again. "Good." Ok that was creepy as fuck. I remember leaving her the moment we stepped into school, because I wanted to find Toni. The Serpent was in the school's parking lot, having just arrived on her motorcycle.
"Ok, you never believe who I just walked to school with." She took off her helmet, clearly confused by my question. "Betty?" I shook my head. "Nope. Dark Betty." Toni's eyes grew wide. The last time any of us had seen that side of Betty, was during the bondage interview with Chuck Clayton. Do we all remember? Yup, it was weird.
"Oh shit. What did she want?" She attached her helmet to her motorcycle, grabbed her keys and followed me inside the building.
"To kill me! I kissed her best friend, remember." We laughed about it and went to our lockers. Mine, mysteriously enough, had a note on it.
"Meet me in the music room?" I read out loud. "C?" Toni added, reading the sender's initial over my shoulder. We were both confused about the writer of the note, when it suddenly dawned on me. "Cheryl...I gotta go Toni."

The door screeched, leaving an awful noise to echo through the classroom. My eyes scanned the room, searching for the red-head that wrote me the note I found on my locker. I expected her to be there first, but instead I was alone. Until suddenly a voice spoke up.
"Y/n y/l/n. How long has it been, 3 weeks? When you first walked into Riverdale High." I couldn't believe it.
"Chuck? What the hell are you doing here. And where is Cheryl?" He chuckled like a villain and shut the door behind him.
"She couldn't make it." I rolled my eyes at him. With every word he spoke, Chuck sounded like a true fuckboy. And let me remind you of the sticky maple he gave Veronica; I still wanted to kill him for that.
"Ok, no. I did not skip class again to be locked up with you in a classroom, Clayton. Now get the hell out of my way." I tried to push past him, but he wouldn't budge, of course.
"Look, I'm not here to hurt you dyke." He took a deep breath.
"I actually need some good advice from you." I bursted out laughing, not believing what I was hearing. Chuck Clayton needed my advice?
"What the hell for?" This was ought to be interesting. Chuck scratched the back of his head and walked towards the middle of the classroom. His vibe was off...he seemed nervous and frankly I didn't know how to act around him.
"Veronica." Hold on, what now?
"I want to ask her out, for real this time, but I don't know how. She's one of your best friends so you should know all the insights."
Oh wow, that I'd live to see the day that Chuck Clayton asks me for advice wasn't enough. After humiliating Veronica in front of the entire school, he wanted to ask her out again? And with my advice too.
"I sometimes think that you two are girlfriends and then I remember you're already dating the HBIC." Little did he know lmao.
"So. Are you gonna help me or what."
I was taken back by his sudden demand, not liking the way he was talking to me.
"Did your mom never teach you manners, Chuck? A 'please' would be nice." As if I was actually going to help him.
"Come on, y/n. I've already made a fool of myself by standing here."
He was right. It was hilarious to see him beg me for advice, really.
"Fine. Ok, take notes. You wanna-"
I pretended to think about my next words, and Chuck was actually surprised that he had persuaded me to do this for him.
"-get the fuck away from me."
Chuck looked at me confused as I turned away from him to leave.
"Wowow, hey." He grabbed me by my arm, making my breath hitch and pushed me back into the room.
"I don't think I was very clear before. You're going to help me take Veronica on a date again, or else..."
This dude has some nerve.
"Or what, Chuck?"
Chuck smirked and leaned in close before slowly whispering in my ear.
"Or I'll tell the entire school about your moment in the parking lot with my girl."
I frowned, realisation written all over my face; How the fuck did he know? My breathing suddenly quickened as he disappeared in the crowd of students. Chuck knew about the kiss...but who told him?

Feeling miserable I walked into English class, which I had with Jug. I sat down next to him in our usual spot: in the back of the classroom.
"Jones." I greeted him. "Y/l/n." He greeted back already buried in his laptop again.
This was his favorite class, besides History. Jughead loved the stories that were told during History, and also liked writing about them during English. It was his dream to become a succesful writer and all of us were convinced that he'd make it someday. Especially now that he was writing his novel about Jason; it showed how much passion he had for the skill. As the teacher told us to work in duos, I kept thinking about Chuck and how much of a prick he was. But what really baffled my mind is how on earth he knew? It was in the parking lot after school so the real question was: Who was still there?
"Are you going to tell me your thoughts?" Jughead asked me, knowing something was up.
I told him no and decided to keep myself busy with English at least for the next hour.

"Class dismissed everyone! Grab your book and read it before next class." I shot up, grabbed my stuff and speed walked to my locker. Toni had to know about this asap. And of course, my bag almost fell out of my hands as I hectically tried to put my books in the damn thing.
"Hi." A soft voice brought me out of my thoughts. It was Cheryl.
"Gosh, hey." She was looking at me like I had grown a third head.
"Are you okay?" I mean, no. Definitely not.
"Yeah I'm fine." I lied shrugging it off.
"Wanna join me at Pop's?" Cheryl asked wearing a soft smile.
"Definitely." I smiled back and embraced her in a hug.

"I missed you."
