The sun was coming up by now and Cheryl was still laying in bed soundly asleep. After the movie from last night, I ended up crashing at Cheryl's place. I was getting ready for school and decided to make some breakfast. I took a quick shower, brushed my teeth in her bathroom and quietly made my way downstairs. Thistlehouse still creeps me out sometimes, especially when I'd hear weird sounds around the house. Cheryl keeps saying it's mice, but I know there's something else in those walls. A few minutes later I had made the perfect breakfast and headed back upstairs. I walked up the stairs with some bacon, eggs and orange juice. I slowly opened the door, making sure to not drop anything and I noticed Cheryl was still asleep.

"Goodmorning, beautiful." I sang putting the tray on her bedside table. Her eyes fluttered open as I sat down next to her. "Do I smell bacon?" She asked pleasantly surprised by the sight in front of her, a smile forming on her face. "Yup, but we have to be quick." I was about to get up to pack my bag when she pulled me back into bed with her. "How about we skip school today?" She straddled me wearing her signature red bra and a red thong. "Babe, we've done that about three times this week already." I said as my hands were roaming her legs. She bent down to kiss me before she got out of bed to eat her breakfast. "You're such a buzzkill." I chuckled making myself comfortable in the kingsize bed. My thoughts had been running wild all morning, even haunting me in my dreams. When it came to relationships I was never the type to last long. Commitment freaked me tf out, but so far things between Cheryl and me were pretty chill. Only difference is, we hadn't made it official just yet. And I figured that at some point, we would have to talk about it. "Baby." Cheryl was getting dressed and hummed a yes from around the corner. "I think we need to talk about something." It was silent for a few seconds, before she spoke up again. "Can you help me clasp my bra first?" I sighed jumping off the bed to help her out. This was my first time being inside of her closet, which was huge. My eyes grew wide seing all this red and smelling her perfume even stronger now. "I was hesitating at first, but this bra just fits today's outfit way better." I pretended to know what she was talking about and hummed a yes, still in awe with the room I was in. There was one mirror in the middle of the closet, Cheryl standing in front of it. I wanted to take a picture of the sight in front of me so bad. "Babe?" She said looking over her shoulder. "Wh- yes, yes I'm here." I clasped her bra for her and decided to finally say it. "Cheryl, what are we?" She looked at me in the mirror, me peaking over her shoulder to look her in the eyes. "What do you mean." She averted her gaze from the mirror to me as I stepped in front of her. I grabbed her hands and decided to finally be honest. "We've only know each other for a week, but I just wanted to say-" That's when her door swung open. "Cheryl! Who is in here with you." She pushed me into a pile of clothes mouthing a 'sorry'. "I am getting dressed mother!" Great, I thought. Way to ruin the moment.

30 minutes later we arrived at school in Cheryl's iconic car making heads turn our way. I was still frustrated with Penelope ruining the moment from before. Even if it still wasn't official, the many public stunts we pulled together made everyone believe it was true though. I never really cared about the attention we got, I even dared to say I loved it in a way. But sometimes things got out of hand. People got intrusive. I remember the first time I met Josie and the Pussycats right after I watched them perform at Pop's with Cheryl. Josie seemed like a nice person and she really is, but she sometimes touches my shoulder or gives me a kiss on the cheek which made Cheryl go crazy.

"Hey girls." We heard Toni say as she came to stand next to us. "Tonight the Pussycats are performing at Veronica's speakeasy! You guys wanna go?" Cheryl and I looked at each other having a telepathic conversation for the first time. "Veroninca has a speakeasy?" I wondered out loud. "For sure! We're coming." I told Toni which got me a death glare from Cheryl. "Great! I'll see you guys later." Toni said before walking off. "I thought we were on the same page about this." She started as I closed my locker. "And we are babe, I just thought it would be a good idea to do something with the girls."

Later that day
That very night Cheryl drove Kevin, Betty and I towards Pop's. We were excited to have a good night and everyone had put on their best clothes. Especially Cheryl I couldn't take my eyes off the whole evening. "You look so hot in that dress." I whispered in her ear as she was driving. Kevin and Betty were seated in the back busy with a conversation about the dress Betty should have worn according to Kevin. "You don't look so bad yourself." She parked in front of Pop's and we all got out of the car. This was going to be awesome: live music, my best friends and Cheryl. It honestly couldn't get better. Cheryl took my hand and all of us walked into Pop's. Reggie welcomed us at the entrance and showed us the way into the speakeasy that was hidden under the fast-food restaurant. It had a retro vibe, gamble tables and a big stage all the spotlights were on. "This looks amazing." I turned to Cheryl and admired her outfit from head to toe once again. "You look amazing." A smile appeared on her face and she left a kiss on my lips, before she walked off to the bar. After I got out of my trance I went into the crowd to join Betty and the others. "Hey, there's Toni!" Kevin screamed into my ear. "Wow she looks beautiful." Toni walked into the speakeasy in a dress that dropped jaws all throughout the room. She looked through the crowd until she met my eyes, and noticed the group. Before I knew it she stood in front of me. "You'll catch flies with that." I awkwardly regained my composure and scratched my head. "Toni!" We hugged and I didn't know how to form correct words anymore. "You look really beautiful." I whispered in her ear. She then leaned in to do the same. "You too, I love your outfit." The room went silent for Veronica, who was standing on stage now.

"Riverdale! I welcome you to this very special night at La Bonne Nuit." She was wearing a beautiful two-piece outfit: it was glowing and so was she. "Tonight we will celebrate the opening of my own speakeasy, but before I introduce you to everything this amazing place has to offer I announce to you: Josie and the Pussycats!" Veronica stepped to the side and the curtain opened just in time revealing the three girls. The music was great and Cheryl, who had returned from the bar, and I were having a great time. After the girls were done performing everyone gave an outstanding applause and went back to what they were doing. "So, mon cheri, should I get you another cherry coke?" I flirted with Cheryl who gave me a flirty look back. "Only if I can give it my own twist." We laughed about it and I gave her a quick kiss before walking over to Reggie to tell him my order. "Hey reg! A cherry coke please." He smirked at me knowing right away who I was ordering for. "Coming right up." I smiled at him and turned around leaning on the counter looking at the still pretty big amount of people dancing.

"Hey." A sweet voice spoke up over the loud music. I turned my head towards the sound only to see Josie standing there. "Hi! You guys were amazing up there." I noticed that she was now wearing a different outfit than from before. "Thanks." She went to stand at the bar right next to me leaning on the counter. "Can I get you a drink?" It was probably just me, but Josie was getting a little too comfortable. She was a little too close for my liking and the fact we could barely hear each other wasn't helping at all. "Uhm thank you! But I actually ordered something for Cheryl." Just in time Reggie put down the drink I ordered. "Cherry-coke for madame?" I told him thanks and picked up the bottle that had a red straw in it. "Why don't you meet me in the VIP-lounge later tonight?" Josie said and before I could answer her she walked off into the crowd again. I tried looking for her but she was nowhere to be seen anymore. "What did she want?" Cheryl asked with disgust as she took the drink from my hand. "I don't know." I swiftly turned around and put her drink back on the counter.

"Let's dance."
