The Unforgivable Mistake

“Ok, Nat.” The host said.

“Well, this is a really tough decision. I'm probably going to feel like I've made the wrong one. I have enjoyed mentoring you both over the last couple of weeks and I'm sad to say but... I'm sending Jaz home as well.” Nat said

“Ok, so that means Jaz will be leaving us tonight. Ronan would you like to say anything?” He said

“Well I'm gobsmacked. I would have voted for Jaz to stay a million times over. Her performances are never original. How can you let a talent like Jaz' go? Just because of one kiss. What is wrong with you people. Over all, I'm very sorry that Jaz is leaving but if its anything to you love, I would have sent Kim home.” Ronan said. I smiled. He opened his arms and I hugged him.

“Well thats it. Kim is through to next week. Before we go, lets take a look at Jaz' X Factor journey.” Host said and I balled my eyes out.

After they finished showing my footage, he handed me the mic so I could say a few words.

“I'd just like to thank everyone who voted for me and supported me. I know last night put my place in jeopardy, but I refuse to let this get to me. This isn't the last of me.” I said and the crowd cheered.

“Well, thats it for tonight and we'll see you next week.” I ran backstage and Harry came up to me.

“Hey babe, I'm so sorry.” He said

“I'm not in the mood Harry. I want to be alone.” I said walking straight past him

“Come on babe, don't be like that. It's like you said, it's not the end of the world.” He said.

“Not the end of the world. There's no way I'm gonna get signed or become anything like you guys. I'm always gonna be known as the girl who came fourth.” I said

“Babe, please. I know your angry but-” I stopped him

“Look, I just want to be alone, don't you get it? I just want to think about a few things, ok?” I said

“Ok, everything will be alright babe.” He said

“yeah thats what they all say.” I said and walked away. I instantly felt gutted for the way I acted to him. I was so rude. I thought about going back to apologise, but I didn't because I needed to pack up my things. I made my way back to the X Factor house and gathered my things.

I got home and put my things down. I hadn't been here in so long. It felt strange. It was a mistake pushing Harry away before because I needed him right now, and I was sure after the way I acted I'd get dumped. I decided to go out and hopefully my friend Andy would let me in. He was the guard at a local night club. I mean I was only a week away from being 18, so what the heck.

Sure enough he let me in and I got a drink. I danced away on the dance floor all kinds of guys came up and danced with me. Some in awkward places, but I was too tipsy by that stage. I was alone at the bar when a young guy came up to me.

“Hey babe, wanna come dance with me?” He asked

“Sure, why should I waste valuable time worrying about shit.” I said and he led me to the dance floor. And then everything was a blank.

I woke up in a room I didn't know and I had a terrible head ache. I looked over to see a guy that wasn't Harry and he had no clothes on. I looked down and neither did I. FUCK! I covered myself up and he turned over and looked at me. Holy shit... It was...

“FUCK!” I said.

“Oh shit. I'm so sorry. This is awkward. I didn't know-” He started but I stopped him

“Why did I have to go out last night? I just cheated on Harry. This is so bad! I feel exactly what Kim called me last night. A whore.” I said bursting into tears.

“Well then, don't tell him.” Jai said.

“JAI! I can't do that. I promised him I would never cheat on him. I've fucked this up now.” I shouted.

“Ok, I'm sorry. Look I didn't mean for this to happen. I was really out of it last night.” He said

“Yeah I noticed. And this is even more terrible.” I said

“Why?” He asked

“Cause you were my first and not Harry.” I said

“Seriously?” He asked. I nodded and went to find my clothes.
