A Failed Apology [Chpt 31]

Harry's Pov:

I watched Zayn as he walked away. He was right, I hurt her a lot. I called her names and she got hate from the fans and then we just stopped talking full stop. I hate myself for not talking things through with her. I've probably ruined everything. What am I saying? She wrecked it in the first place! Either way, I have to talk to her.

I walked up and knocked on the door. Cody was obviously still in there, but he'd leave after he found out it was me.

“Oh, Harry, um. I'm gonna go get some food. I'll wait outside if your still here when I get back.” Cody said and left. Exactly the reaction I expected.

“Harry, I-” She started but I stopped her.

“No, Jaz. I'm sorry. I never should have stopped talking to you in the first place. I'm an idiot for not hearing you out.” I said.

“Harry, you don't have to apologise. I don't blame you for not talking to me. But when Zayn said you didn't care about me. It hurt, a lot. While I was in a coma, a had two dreams. One that I was your girlfriend. Then I lost X Factor because you kissed me and I cheated on you with one of the Janoskians. Then I randomly woke up in a hosptial and you and I were still together, but was in this band thing with my friends and then you cheated on me with one of them. I like broke my ankle and Zayn helped me.” She said. My jaw dropped

“Wow, you mind can be weird sometimes.” I said

“I know. Then we started talking and I became really famous and we went shopping. Then we got back and we were talking. We talked about how if this was a dream I would be so pissed and then I was all like 'what if I was in a comma and I was in a plane crash or something' and you were like 'That didn't happen because you were in a cruise accident' and then everything went blurry and I woke up here. It quite frankly scared the shit out of me. I've been in three worlds. What if this is a dream!” She said

“Jaz, your not dreaming, trust me.” I said and grabbed her hand. She cringed and pulled away.

“Harry, don't. What I did to you is just unbelievable. I can't believe I did that! To you and to Zayn. I don't want you forgiving me because I'm in a hospital bed. Only forgive me if you really mean it. And I don't expect you to forgive me, I really don't.” She said.

Jazmine's Pov:

“Jaz, I'm not forgiving you. At first I did hate you for what you did, but I know that you didn't mean for it to happen. I only hated you for a couple weeks. Then I just kept faking it. I didn't want to seem like a woos about it.” He said

“Harry! You wouldn't have been a woos! I mean..... Ugh, why would you do that! Why couldn't you just talk to me? I feel bad enough already!”  started to raise my voice.

“Jaz, please. I understand that now. I didn't mean to. I just thought it was the right thing to do. I was going to tell you, but every time, something stopped me. And now this. You don't understand how worried I've been about you.” He said.

“No, Harry. I regret what I did so much, but you lied about being angry at me? I feel guilty enough already! Or felt. Now I don't even know if I do regret it. There, I said it ok! Isn't that what you want me to say? Now your just going to say 'No' and 'I want you back'. Harry, we both know thats not a good idea, not yet anyways. Look can you just go.” I said and put my face in my hands.

“Jaz, I came here to apologise, not to get yelled at. I know what I did was wrong, but you have to understand what you did is far worse. Of course I want you back. But as long as your happy, I'm happy, just don't shut me o-” He started but I stopped him

“Shut you out? Shut YOU out? Last time I checked you shut me out and didn't listen. I really don't get why your even here Harry, please , just leave. We can talk about this when I'm not recovering from a car accident. OK!” I yelled. He nodded and left the room. I sighed and let the tears fall. I didn't mean to raise my voice like that, but he deserved it. Lying about hating someone is so stupid. He did deserve it... right?
