oops this isnt a sonnet because it's not 14 lines, still in iambic pentameter though
                              ---------
All I could think of was how badly
I wished to hold your hand as we walked on
How your fingers would feel laced carefully
In mine, each groove added to lexicon
When we lied on the grass for a moment
I only wished to press my face to yours
Without a sound from lips nor a comment
Just us, the grass, and clouds gentle azures
I want you to be happy and to see
Angel, you are so very dear to me

Sonnets for Someones
PoetryI've discovered a love for sonnets due to my AP English Literature and Composition class, so I began writing sonnets about people, places, and things. These are a collection of sonnets, as well as generally poetic musings that follow my thoughts.
