oops this isnt a sonnet because it's not 14 lines, still in iambic pentameter though
Disclaimer: This is from a time where I was blissfully unaware of the damage that was being done to me by someone who I thought the world of. Be cautious with your affections.

Goodness, I'm getting lost in you again
Drowning in bright pink halogen halos
Doe-like eyes and spaced out stares make me strain
Nutmeg freckles on cream like nebulos
Remembering your likes and tastes and wants
Succulents, writing, space adventures far
Tea on rainy days, your soft lips like taunts
I leave my heart for you slightly ajar
                              Intoxicated by your presence here
I forgot how good it was to love you, dear

Sonnets for Someones
PoetryI've discovered a love for sonnets due to my AP English Literature and Composition class, so I began writing sonnets about people, places, and things. These are a collection of sonnets, as well as generally poetic musings that follow my thoughts.
