Did you know that last night was the first time I cried solely about you?
I reclaimed the love I had for your freckles in each tear that speckled my cheeks
My ribs heaved with each kiss I'd given that had stolen my breath
I'd committed every bit of you to memory
A love for monkey grass and lavenders and the color purple
And I curse the pavement I walk upon
For each step reminds me of you

Sonnets for Someones
PoetryI've discovered a love for sonnets due to my AP English Literature and Composition class, so I began writing sonnets about people, places, and things. These are a collection of sonnets, as well as generally poetic musings that follow my thoughts.
