Donghyuck stood there, frozen in his place. Not moving an inch and just letting the memories of the male that shot Kun flood back into his head again, all at once.
"Doyoung hyung! Do you wanna play games with me", the 8 year old Donghyuck asked the 4 year older boy. "Sure", he smiled as he took Donghyuck's small hand in his. "What do you want to play little one?".
Donghyuck thought for a while and then grinned widely as he screamed hide and seek. "Okay I will count to 20, don't go to far", the younger nodded and ran away as soon as Doyoung started counting.
"18..19..20, here I come!", Doyoung screamed loudly. Then he started walking through the streets, looking behind trash cans, trees, walking into small alleys, but no Donghyuck.
It had been half an hour since they started the game and Doyoung was starting to panic. Every time they played hide and seek and Doyoung couldn't find the other Donghyuck would come out of his hiding place eventually. This time he didn't, so Doyoung was worrying a lot while he walked towards the park, searched there, didn't find anything and went to the library. Eventually he had gone everywhere and still no sign of Donghyuck.
Doyoung was close to crying, what if something bad happened? Yes Donghyuck was quite smart for his age, but would immediately go with a stranger the moment they offered him candy. One of the older boys were still teaching him to never trust strangers.
The most horrible scenarios played in Doyoung's head. Donghyuck could be lost and crying, hurt, or maybe even dead. "DONGHYUCK! COME OUT OF YOUR HIDING PLACE PLEASE, YOU'VE WON!", he started yelling again.
Walking into the playground again he passed the slide and heard soft babbling coming from inside it. Poking his head into the slide, he saw the little boy curled up in a ball, asleep. Doyoung sighed relieved and grabbed the boy rather clumsy, waking the other up in the process.
"Hyung-", the boy yawned loudly cutting himself of. Doyoung laughed softly and ruffled his hairs, worries long forgotten. "Slept well Hyuckie?", they giggled together as they started walking home.
"I'll never lose you again", the older hummed as he hugged Donghyuck tightly.
"Doyoung hyung, can I talk to you?", a boy tapped on Doyoung's shoulder. The latter turned around rather aggressive, but immediately calmed down the moment he made eye contact with the 13 year old Donghyuck.
"Yeah, what's up Hyuck?", Doyoung hummed as he and Donghyuck stood a little further away from the rest. "Are you in love with Taeil hyung?", the boy asked without hesitation.
"I- What makes you think that?", the older slowly turned red. "Oh come on hyung, you can't be more obvious!", Donghyuck practically screamed. The younger started ranting about how Doyoung looked so jealous everytime Taeil hugged another member, just like one minute ago. Doyoung quickly put a hand over his mouth and nodded slowly, telling Donghyuck that he indeed had a 'little' crush on the oldest.
