"Donghyuck?", Renjun tapped on the said boy's shoulder. "Hello? Are you okay?", suddenly Donghyuck began to shake a bit. Sicheng reacted immediately and pushed the younger down on a chair.

"Hyung, what's wrong?", Renjun looked up at Sicheng with big confused eyes. "I think he's regaining his memory", he whispered back softly.

Finally Donghyuck snapped back into reality. "Taeil hyung", he mumbled eyes watering. Before the younger could say another word Sicheng already pulled him in a hug. Renjun went out of the room, yanking Jeannie and Hendery with him in the process, so that Sicheng and Donghyuck could have some alone time again.

"Hey..Runjen wasn't it?", Jeannie began.

"It's Renjun", Hendery and Renjun corrected her at the same time. They both laughed and gave each other a high five. "Okay rEnjUn, what was happening in there?", she asked.

Renjun shrugged "Honestly I don't really know, but hyung told me that Donghyuck was remembering things from the past."

Jeannie looked confused, so Hendery quickly explained Donghyuck's situation to her. She nodded "Oh that's why he looked like he was in another dimension." Silence fell as they stood there, not really knowing what to do.

Eventually Jeannie sighed and suggested they could sing karaoke. Being the logical thinker he is Renjun asked her where they could possibly do that in a police station, because they weren't allowed to go into the city.

Jeannie laughed and patted Renjun on the head. "We just go to a room with a television, connect one of our phones on it and play karaoke songs." Renjun and Hendery nodded excitedly, as they followed the girl towards one of the offices.

It took them quite long to finally turn the office in a karaoke like place, since the only person (Renjun) who was handy enough could barely reach things. But when they finally had it they immediately started to play Disney songs.

Yang Yang who walked past the room heard the music, became curious and decided to look through the window. At the exact same moment Renjun started singing and Yang Yang's jaw dropped. Damn he didn't expect he could like the smaller even more, but yet here he was staring at Renjun in awe.

Only Jeannie seemed to notice him standing there and beckoned him to go into the room, so Yang Yang did. Clapping when the song ended, making Renjun turn red while the others laughed.

In the meantime Donghyuck calmed down in Sicheng's embrace. "Hyuckie, who do you remember other than me and Doyoung?", he whispered. Donghyuck whispered Taeil's name.

Moon Taeil.

Sicheng never expected him to become part of a gang, he didn't think any of his friends could. The years Sicheng had spend in China were difficult for him. Even though he was born there and went there every vacation, Sicheng still hadn't any friends.

Luckily he could already speak Chinese, so interacting with other students wouldn't be a problem if he wasn't so shy. The other kids wouldn't spare him a single glance, or they would look at him while whispering mean things.

Sicheng had spend months crying himself to sleep, he really missed Korea and all his friends. He would do anything to see them back again. To make eye contact with Yuta, smile at him and then watch the other look away, a blush decorating his face again. To have late night conversations with Jaehyun and Taeyong again. To bake cookies with Doyoung again. To watch movies with Taeil again. To draw ugly things and laugh at the 'masterpieces' with Johnny again. To play soccer with Jungwoo or badminton with Mark again. To cuddle and fall asleep on the couch with Donghyuck again.

He didn't feel like home in China, not like he used to.

That was until Xiaojun came around, he was a younger than Sicheng but that didn't matter. They became close friends within weeks. They didn't need anyone else but each other, they were inseparable.

Sadly Xiaojun moved to Korea, but promised the older to visit China as much as he could. Years flew by, Sicheng wasn't lonely anymore. He had other friends and Xiaojun kept his promise, Sicheng didn't cry himself to sleep anymore. He was happy again without his old friends, who he seemed to forget slowly.

One time Xiaojun and Sicheng were chilling in the treehouse they had build years ago and the younger had asked Sicheng if he wanted to go back to Korea.

Of course Sicheng wanted to, he was an adult now and could make his own choices. But this also ment his parents wouldn't help him, so he didn't have the money to go back to Korea. That was what he told Xiaojun, the younger just laughed.

"Hyung, it's okay! I have a job at a police station now, we're searching for colleagues. I have the money to bring you back to Korea and I already know my boss is going to hire you!", Xiaojun grinned, making Sicheng grin back at him. Sicheng, who wasn't that fond of skin ship, couldn't stop hugging Xiaojun that day.

Maybe, maybe he was able to see his old friends back again.

He knew that it was almost impossible since he lost contact with them. As he arrived in Korea there was no sign of his old friends. He forgot about them once again, just like he did in China. Until the very moment he saw Mark.

Only now he realized how much his old friends meant to him and how much they had changed. Even Donghyuck became a whole different person, he was no longer the youngest now. He was a hyung, responsible. Donghyuck had lost his memory and didn't know who he was. He had to find himself back again, had to become a person with feelings, memories, like he used to be. With the help of Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin, Chenle and Jisung he succeeded to become happy once again. And Sicheng couldn't thank the younger boys enough for taking good care of Donghyuck.

His old friends, had they changed much? Were they different people now? Were they really dead inside, could they no longer feel bad anymore?

He remembered the days in which Mark tried not to kill any ants as they walked through the forest or when Jungwoo felt bad for stepping on a flower. Were they really the same people that almost burned down an entire city?

Could they be?

Now he though about it, he himself had changed a lot too. He had matured, became more outgoing. Years ago he couldn't even give people a proper answer if they asked him question. Now, he was the person to indicate new conversations.

Sicheng smiled, where and who would he be without Xiaojun and the other cops?

A soft tap on his shoulder made the Chinese male snap out of his thoughts. The soft giggle of Donghyuck made Sicheng's heart melt once again, after all he still had a soft spot for the boy.

"Hyung~ I'm fine now, can you stop suffocating me with your hug?", the younger whined. Sicheng laughed and stopped hugging the boy. "Sorry Hyuck".

"It's okay hyung, wanna grab some food?", Donghyuck asked as he patted his own tummy. "Sure, let's order Japanese", Sicheng hummed as he thought back to a particular Japanese boy.

'May we meet again Yuta', he whispered to himself. Not knowing that they would stand face to face real soon.
