{YES ANOTHER FLASHBACK. Why? Because I said so!}

It was Eleven's first day at school. She was lucky and had her classes with always at least one member of the party. English with Will. History with Dustin. Science with all of them, including Max. Math with Lucas. Art class with Mike. But sports? With Max. Only Max. And by the way they hated each other, there was no point on sticking together.

As Eleven entered the so called "changing room", there were 3 groups of girls. The girly and loud girls, she recognized the girl who was mean to Dustin during the snowball, Stacey. The outsiders and the nerds which surprisingly Max wasn't a part of. And then there was Max and another redhead. She could hear them discuss. 'I hope that we're playing dodgeball.' Then the familiar, soft voice spoke up. 'Nah, I heard that we're playing basketball today.' They both high fived and walked through a door, probably the door to the gymnasium and disappeared without even acknowledging Eleven's presence.

The brunette walked through the unknown room and put her stuff down in the corner and put her sports clothes on. She could hear a few from the popular, girly girls murmuring while pointing or looking at Eleven. 'Do you think she's a dyke?' 'Could explain her short hair and her weird clothing style.' What's a dyke? Am I one? What are they talking about? What did I do to them? The endless thoughts continued until a hand tapped her shoulder and she turned around with her fists up, ready to fight. It was Max. 'Don't listen to them, they only talk shit.' She turned around and walked to her backpack grabbing a scrunchies and put her hair up forming a ponytail. After that, she disappeared again through that same door.

She heard a loud whistle and just opened the door that everyone walked through. Her eyes widen. It's the gymnasium. The one where she saw Max and Mike together. The one where she was floating in the swimming pool to find Will and Barbara. The one where she and Mike danced. Even though Eleven didn't really wanted to.

All the girls gathered around Mrs. Fields, so Eleven made the same. Pretty. Really pretty. 'Ok, so we're playing basketball today, Mayfield and Marsh make the teams. I'm getting the balls.' Max and the other redhead stepped into the field and started picking random persons. 'Jane.' Eleven looked up and saw Max looking at her. The brunette glared at her. Why would she choose me? She hates me and I hate her. She probably wants to humiliate me. Bitch.

Eleven walked up to Max's team, and avoided looking anyone in the eyes. She had never played basketball. Steve tried to explain her how to play, but Eleven didn't really care about sports. As the coach came back with three balls, she whistled and the girls started moving around. So she did too. Max obviously saw the confusion on Eleven's face. 'You don't need to talk to me, but just follow my lead. All you have to do is take the ball away when the other team has it and then just pass it at someone of our team.' She walked away not letting Eleven respond, but it isn't like she would have responded.

As the game started, Eleven slowly understood how it worked and did what Max told her to do. She successfully took the ball away from the opposite team, throwing it at one of her teammates. 'One minute left!' Stacey had the ball and ran towards Eleven. Eleven stood her ground and was able to take the ball, she passed it to a blonde girl, who then ran to that weird thing that Eleven couldn't possibly name. She threw the ball, but failed miserably by throwing the ball against the board, making it bounce and get thrown in Max's direction. Max grabbed the ball, shot it, while being pushed by Stacey. Eleven eyes followed the ball. And. BASKET! Eleven smiled bright and turned back looking at Max who was on the floor. At the same moment, Stacey walked by and step hard on Max's arm on purpose. Max let out a huge scream of pain and hold her arm with her other hand. 'Oh sorry, I didn't see you there.' Stacey grinned walking away and Eleven glared at her. She wanted to break her arm like she had done to Troy.
