The couple decided to go for a walk and afterwards go to Eleven's cabin. 'How's your shoulder?' Eleven hit her own shoulder and smiled. 'Like nothing ever happened. And your head?' Max shrugged. 'Barely hurts. So, your sister...' Eleven looked curiously at Max. 'What about her?' Max started fidgeting with her jackets zipper. 'Tell me about her.' Eleven frowned but chuckled. 'What are you worried about?' Max turned to Eleven. 'You're playing with your fingers and you're not looking at me. You always do that when you're worried.' Max chuckled. 'I'm just scared that...I don't know...she influences you into...bad things.' Eleven stopped walking. 'Like what?' Max stopped too and turned to Eleven, avoiding direct eye contact. 'Smoking? Drinking? Drugs? Killing? I don't know.' Eleven moved her hand slowly to Max's shoulder, making the redhead look up. 'I love my sister very much, but I am aware that she has done some really bad dec-...decisions...' Max nodded and looked down, ashamed to have made those comments. 'I'm sorry.'
Eleven didn't answer, which was quite strange. Max looked up and saw her girlfriend looking past her. The redhead was about to turn around, when Eleven quickly moved her hand to Max's cheek. 'El, what's wrong?' Eleven seriously looked Max in the eyes. 'Bad men. Don't look. But there are people here to get me. You need to run. Now.' Max frowned. 'What? No. I'm not going anywhere.' Eleven kissed her girlfriend. 'I need you safe.' And she ran. Eleven ran off, but in their direction. Max watched her, frozen, not knowing what to do. A man with white hair climbed out of one of the vans. He wasn't looking at Eleven, but he was directly staring at Max. 'Sh-Shit.'
Max turned around and ran. She ran as fast as her legs could run. A phone. She needed a phone. Call Robin's number. Yes! Ok. Focus Maxine. Where can I find a phone? Cabin! Hopper's cabin! Max brutally slowed down, almost stumbling, but was able to keep her balance. She ran to Hopper's cabin. She jumped as she saw the trap that Hopper had built. Max arrived at the cabin. The door was locked. She quickly grabbed a stone and broke one of the living room windows, climbing through it. She ran to the phone and chose the number Robin had given to her.
'Hello?' Max didn't recognized the voice. 'H-Hi. This is Maxine Mayfield, who am I talking to?' The redhead heard a light chuckle. 'Hey Max, I'm Hope. Robin's girlfriend?' Max sighed out of relief. 'Robin gave me this number in case I needed help...I really need help right now.' Hope was silent for a little moment. 'Period? Girl problems?' Max chuckled and frowned. 'No, this is serious. There are men who just did god knows what to my girlfriend and there's one after me. Just call Hopper. I'm at his cabin. Please hurry! It's a man with white hair and he is tall as hell!' Hope took notes. 'I got you. Can you grab something to defend yourself?' Max was about to answer but she heard wood cracking. 'Sh-shit. He's here.' The man entered the house with a gun. Not a normal gun. It was tranquilizer. He shot Max, not hesitating. The redhead fell to the ground. Max saw the man approach her, smirking. 'Finally.' The man chuckled towering over Max. That's the last thing that she heard and everything went black.
