The whole way to Robin's apartment, it was pretty quiet. Both lost in their thoughts. But Robin finally spoke up, with a question. 'Are you scared or allergic to dogs?' Max looked at her. 'No. Why? Do you have a dog?' Robin chuckled and nodded. 'Aw, what's his name?' Robin shook her head, without keeping her eyes off the road. 'Her name is Hayley, and she is a little Husky. I got her 2 weeks ago.' Max chuckled, and looked up. 'I thought you would be more of a cat person.' Robin faked an hurt expression. 'Why? Because I'm gay?' Max's eyes widen. 'No! No! I-' She got interrupted by Robin's laughter. 'Relax Max. I'm teasing you. And let's get one thing straight, you're not.' Max blushed and looked out of the car. 'W-why would you say that?' Robin frowned and looked at her. 'I'm sorry if I misjudged you. But, I mean, the way you and Eleven give each other heart eyes is adorable but also totally obvious for my gaydar.' The older girl looked back at the street. 'I'm not gay. I'm not.' Robin nodded and raised one hand from the wheel. 'Ok.'

Max felt relieved after their little conversation. She didn't lie, right? She's not gay. She had feelings for Lucas. His presence gave her butterflies, sometimes. But she did miss someone. Her name was Riley. She stayed back in California. It was Max's best friend. Well, her only friend. She just loved having sleepovers with her. Going to the skatepark. Talk about movies, or just talk about random stuff. Those deep talks that teenagers have at 3am with their friends, after playing truth or dare. But then she remembered her last sleepover with her. She had totally forgotten about it! Maybe it was her way of ignoring what happened.

<Flashback>

'Your turn!' Riley giggled. 'Ok, fine.' The redhead looked down at her hands, fidgeting with the cover of her bed. 'Truth or dare Maxie!' Max spoke shyly. 'Truth.' Riley shook her head. 'No, you've said truth already 5 times. You gotta pick dare.' Max nodded, and looked up. 'Fine. Dare.' Riley looked at the ceiling, acting as if she was thinking, but Max knew her to well. 'I know you have something on your mind.' Riley lowered her eyes, and gave her a mischievous smirk. 'What?' Max knew that look. It mostly meant; trouble. 'Kiss me.' Max's eyes widen, and she blushed, being redder than a tomato. 'W-What?' She answered with a shaking and shy voice. 'Kiss me.' Max shook her head, and stared back at her best friend. 'I can't do that.' Riley put her hand on Max's knee. 'You gotta do it. It's a dare.' Max gulped. She was so afraid. She didn't want to kiss her best friend. Of course she loved her, she did. But she couldn't be forced to do it. It would be totally unfair. 'No.'

Riley frowned and pushed her, making Max lay down. She then quickly got on top of her and pinned her down on the bed. 'Riley, let me go.' Riley chuckled and got closer to her, having both of Max's hand above the ginger's head. 'No can do Maxie.' She then moved her head closer to Max's. The gap between their lips slowly disappeared, until there wasn't one. The redhead just instinctively pulled away. She then pushed Riley off of her and looked furiously at her. 'Don't ever do that again! Why would you do that?' Riley shrugged, not understanding her friends overreaction. 'It was a dare.' Max frowned. 'It was my dare.' Riley shook her head, and looked down. 'No. Annabelle dared me, to kiss you, so I dared you to kiss me, because I knew that you wouldn't do it, so I'd have the opportunity to do it.' Max needed a second. Too many "dares" in one sentence. 'So, what I'm understanding is that, the school bully, made you force me to kiss you?' Riley nodded, still not being able to look at Max. 'Basically. Yeah. I'm sorry Maxie.' Max stood up, not wanting to be near her and started pacing through her room. After a minute pacing around, Max finally broke the silence. 'What would they have done, if you wouldn't have completed the dare?' Riley looked up at her, her body shaking. 'You don't want to know.' Max stopped pacing around, and walked up to Riley, who was still shaking, not exactly knowing why. Then Max did such an unexpected thing. She hugged her. That's it. She just hugged her. She obviously knew that her best friend was lying, and she later found proof.

That was their last hug and their last sleepover. That was Max's last girl friend. Until Eleven.

Her thought got harshly interrupted as she heard the car's door slam.
