She headed back to the where the signing line was after purchasing a book. Standing in line like everyone else made her oddly giggly.

"Thank you for buying my book! I hope you enjoy it!" Tim said as he scribbled his name.

"I'm sure I will." She replied making him look up.

"I would have given you..."

"I want to support you. This is the best way I know how to do that." She smiled at him, "I am looking forward to reading this. It looks amazing."

"I worked hard on the story line to make it perfect." He grinned.

"I have no doubts that you did." She winked earning one of those heart-melting grins in return

"Mr. Foust, you have other fans." The venue personnel stated, urging him to move her along.

Kalene winked before taking her signed copy and moving off to the side where Rob and Austin were standing. Abe, Chris, and Luke were walking around together chatting amongst themselves. All she could do was stand there and watch as her boyfriend chatted with the fans of his graphic novel. About her as a Viking warrior woman. It made her giggle slightly.

Adam and Chance had picked up a copy of Tim's graphic novel as well although they weren't having him sign it for them. Chance was thumbing through it and was impressed with what he was seeing. "The art is really good." he commented earning a head nod and chuckle from his companion. "Tim's a graphic artist after all, what do you expect?" Adam replied with a laugh as they walked around talking everything in.

Everyone had been very worried when he had begun burying his nose in his sketches after Kalene had been put in the hospital the first time. Then whenever he had free time and he wasn't spending it with Kalene, he had his nose back in his sketch books. Never in a million years did they think he was working on something like this. Adam was impressed with his friend. He turned something negative into something positive. He used his defense mechanism to do something productive which was now, apparently, quite popular.

"Do you think he'll do another book?" A young woman about 18 asked as they stood by looking at some of the art from the book.

"I hope so. I mean, he did leave this pretty open-ended!" Her friend replied.

"That's true. Tove is such an inspiration. Strong-willed, fiercely independent, loyal and family oriented. Even my mom likes what she's seen of this book and that's saying something!" The first girl laughed before the pair walked away making Adam smile to himself.

"Ladies and gentlemen, let me have your attention! The book signing is now over. We thank you for coming out and we hope you've enjoyed the unveiling of 'Warriors and Wolves'. There are still plenty of copies of the book if you haven't picked it up yet. We'll be closing in about an hour. Thank you." The venue staff explained as David helped Tim out of his seat.

He walked over to Kalene and wrapped her up in his arms who just giggled. Staring into her eyes briefly, he leaned down and pressed their lips together earning a soft moan from her. She wrapped her arms around his neck as they stood there kissing forgetting they were in public. The night, at least to him, had been a success and his girl had been there with him. It's all he could have asked for. Hearing someone clearing their throat made them pull apart.

"Sorry to interrupt Tim. I was thinking. Maybe you could sign a few copies of what we have left and we could have a short pre-sale? The book doesn't officially launch for another month and your website is up and running, isn't it?" David asked.

"Yes." Tim stroked his chin, "I guess that could work. Two-week pre-sale maybe? Or one week?"

"I say two-week. Come on, let's go sign books." David smiled at the taller man.

Tim slipped his hand in Kalene's as they walked over to the table that had books left. She noted there were a considerable amount gone already but still quite a few left. David handed Tim a marker for him to start signing books with as she stood around. The rest of their group eventually convened near them so she wandered back over to them and explained what Tim was doing.

"He has his own site for his book?" Austin asked.

"Apparently so." She chuckled, "But doesn't he have his own site for his music?"

Austin laughed as he shook his head yes.

"Everyone seemed so enthusiastic about his book tonight. You should have heard some of the comments we heard." Abe stated.

"Us too. One girl was already asking if he was going to write another book!" Adam stated making the whole group laugh.

"I wonder why he didn't tell us this is what he was working on?" Nate asked, "I mean, it's not like we would have looked down on him or anything."

"I think it's because it was such a deeply personal thing for him, he felt by telling you, it would have almost violated what he was doing. Yes, I know that sounds crazy. You have to remember the state of mind he was in when he started this project." Luke stated.

"Anyone else get a copy?" Austin asked.

"Yes. I even stood in line and had him sign it for me!" Kalene laughed making everyone else laugh too.

Eventually the group headed back to the hotel. Instead of heading back to their rooms, Luke asked everyone to bar with him. He bought the first round of drinks, which everyone was grateful for. "To Tim's graphic novel and his success with it!" Luke raised his glass. "To Tim!" everyone else chimed in making the bass man's cheeks tint slightly. The night had gone even better than Tim had ever imagined it would.

Austin bought the next round of drinks, even though Tim was drinking only sweet tea, which again everyone else was grateful for. The night was relatively young and Luke wanted Tim to know that the crew and band had his back with his new endeavor and that they'd support him no matter what. This was a celebration of the success of his launch of his graphic novel even if it wasn't being released for another month.

A few hours had gone by and most people were pretty hammered, his girlfriend included. He decided to take her up to their shared hotel room before she passed out. Bidding everyone goodnight, and thanking them for coming out with them, he slipped his arm around her waist and headed towards the elevators. Suddenly the alcohol really kicked into her system. Standing in the elevators all alone, she tried to unbutton his shirt but he kept swatting her hand away stating they couldn't get naked until they were in their hotel room making her pout.
