"Kalene? It's...it's Rachel...I have...some bad news." Rachel exclaimed.
"What happened?" Kalene was instantly on guard hearing the near-panic in Rachel's voice.
"It's Gen...she's been...she's been kidnapped. Right out from the back of the venue. I'm sorry." Rachel began crying.
"What the fuck happened? Where are you?" Kalene growled into the phone.
"Dallas. The band were leaving from the show. Everyone was tasered. When we woke up, Genesis was the only one missing. There was a note left behind. It wasn't a ransom note, Kalene." Rachel ominously stated.
"Are you going to tell me what it said or am I going to have to guess?" Kalene hissed.
"Um, it said 'I told you I'd take what's mine'. I hope you know what that means or who it was from." Rachel replied.
"I know alright. Thanks for letting me know. Keep Luke in the loop, please." Kalene stated.
She screamed loudly before throwing Tim's chair into the mirror shattering it completely. She then broke the chair over the vanity. After that came overturning his trunk. If they thought she'd destroyed the other dressing room, they were mistaken. She had utterly demolished Tim's dressing room this time before screaming again then flying out of it in a fit of rage.
"Kalene?" Austin inquired as he took his earbuds out of his ears and left his dressing room.
She bolted for the bus then to her bunk. She hastily packed an overnight bag as Luke boarded the bus. He was on the phone with Rachel who was explaining the situation. Kalene pushed past the sandy-haired blond who was calling a cab to take her to the nearest airport. She didn't even bother saying goodbye to Tim. Luke knew nothing good was going to come of her behavior.
He knew he needed to tell the bass man but also knew it would throw him off his game for the night. With a deep sigh, he called the next two venues to reschedule their performances. He would tell Tim after the show and have them tickets to fly out to Dallas that night. Luke set up hotel rooms in Kalene and Genesis' hometown.
"Hey Luke, where's Kalene?" Tim asked as he boarded the bus, "We're heading out to grab a bite before the VIP session and I wanted to know if she wanted to go."
"Uh, she's not here. I'd go on without her. She's probably busy taking care of stuff." Luke tried to lie.
He hated it. Hated lying to his friend like this but it was for his own good.
"Maybe I'll call her." Tim stated as Adam boarded the bus.
"What did she say?" The blond asked.
Luke sighed when Tim furrowed his brows, "Get the rest of the guys in here. I'm calling a band meeting."
Tim sat down and looked at his manager. There was something up and he knew it. What it was, he didn't know. Slowly the rest of the guys made it to the bus.
"Tim, have you been in your dressing room in a while?" Austin asked making the bass man shake his head no, "Because it looks like the Tasmanian Devil went through there."
"What?" Tim exclaimed.
"Guys! Listen, I know what happened in Tim's dressing room. Kalene got a call from Rachel earlier. (Tim gasped) Apparently, she was kidnapped as they were leaving a venue in Dallas. The band and Rachel were tasered and when everyone woke up, she was the only one gone.
There was a note that read 'I told you I'd take what's mine'. Kalene didn't say anything to me but as I was on the phone with Rachel, she was leaving the bus with an over night bag and talking to a cab company. I'm assuming she's flying home to try and find her daughter.
