Have you ever wondered what life would be like inside walls? Living like trapped animals afraid to go to the outside world. Well that's the life we live, and we're determined to break free. This is our story. (yes, it's an attack on titan based story)

-Ray-

It was hot, but that never bothered us since the walls casted shade around all the houses, but there was this one field we played at that the walls even being 100 feet tall couldn't reach. This field was so beautiful with the purple flowers and the green grass that grew ankle deep, we were sitting on a huge hunk of metal that was  what Anaya had called it, The ocean, which no one had ever seen, no one dared venture past the walls because of what happened so many years ago. Next to me Anaya sighed wishfully "Ray, travel with me outside the walls, we can sneak out and no one will ever know." The only reply possible was to tell her how stupid that sounded and so instead I lamely looked at her, she was always very beautiful though she never knew it, she was like my sister "Come on An, think clear on that. That is forbidden and you know it, no matter how much we want to it's just not possible, besides we live nice here." She looked me dead in the eyes as if she was hoping I'd say yes, almost begging me to as she said "Please Ray, we live nicely because our families helped build this wall." Never have thinking this way I had to look away from her or I may have agreed. Going outside was not ever going to work, it was a dead war zone with who knows what out there. I watched the sky every day, but never knew what it was like beyond these walls. I wondered for so long on what it would be like to step outside. Knowing what she meant by "outside" scared me, because she was smart enough to sneak out, strong enough to survive, but me I wasn't I preferred to live inside the wall... Trapped living my life here and having children then dying.

Anaya stood and helped me up, but we fell as soon as the ground shook violently and she looked at me then to the wall, had something happened? I wasn't able to see, instantly as if on cue the wall crumbled and started to fall. Anaya had pulled me toward the opening in the wall but everyone was running back to the other gate entrance to get away from this all, so I followed, losing Anaya along the way and hoping she'd get to the boats in time. "Ray" I heard Anaya calling, scared and as I turned to see her, people were dragging her away, I had to choose her or the boats so I chose her, but as I ran to catch up to her, someone pulled me into the boats, and without time the boats started to move and Anaya was out of sight. I looked around frantically and went to yell to them to stop but someone grabbed my arm, looking behind me and it was Anaya's little sister that she has been raising, she looked at me with tears stained on her cheeks and asked "Where is sissy?" How could I tell her I didn't know? She was 7, so I leaned down to her level and whispered, "It's okay, little Becca, she's on another boat, she'll be okay" as I said those words I started hoping, praying it was true. I pulled her to me and hummed to her till she slept and calmed down. I had to let myself relax, but not to much because we still didn't know where Anaya was, or if she was safe. I didn't know anything more than the fact that we had been seperated and I couldn't get back to her, how was she? Was she worried? Scared? Lost? Or dead? I was starting to doze off, not realising it till the sleep had gotten to me as I closed my eyes, slowly drifting to off into a pit of darkness.
