Breach

Part 8 fated

-Ray-

After explaining everything she had memory of was explained I heard rushed footsteps, then and explosion, my first response was to push her to the ground and yell "STAY" I couldn't lose her, not again. Grabbing my gun and knife, and also sliding my shirt then shoes on I took off out the door without a second thought. I saw Tatsuo in the hallway running to where I was going and she yelled "Ray, be ready to fight" She giggled and squealed, excited for this day, I rolled my eyes and Captain soon came into view, holding a wound deeply, a guy at his side kneeling to help his wound I recognized him and Leonardo, Tatsuo stopped and looked back at me "where's Freedom? She would love this fight." I looked back and said "In there still" She turned pale and said "Most of them are in there Ray!" She took off inside me following close behind her.

-Anaya-

I was putting my shoes on when I heard running again, it was after Ray pushed me down and commanded me to stay still in here but I couldn't anymore, I heard a scream and I wasn't sure who it was but I had a bad feeling, like I did before the wall, so I put on a mask to cover the smoke, I grabbed my sword and ran out of the room, instantly having a feeling to keep going. Something grabbed my ankle and I stabbed it, I hadn't even been scared, I smiled and kept running. I heard gunshots and then another explosion knocked me off my feet, the ceiling above me soon to give way. I tried to move by my ankle was caught. I knew at that moment I was going to die so I screamed as loud as I could "RAY!" the roof caved in and black started to take over my vision, slowly at first, then faster as I started to get cold, a sharp pain in my back and stomach, the darkness took my sight and I went still.

-Tatsuo-

I knew Ray was running behind me, frantically searching for his lover, I knew I loved him and so did she, but I had backed off because he had loved her for as long as I knew him. I stopped as I heard his name from somewhere deeper, he pushed me aside and ran faster than he had before, but I knew that the ceiling over there wouldn't hold for long so I followed him, at his heels until I ran into him as he stopped. I looked where he was and suddenly it felt as the world had taken the air from the room, it was Anaya, under all that rubble, still, bleeding and a pole sticking out of her back, I saw the way Ray looked like he was going to kill someone. I knew he probably would kill the people here that made this happen so I went over and started clearing the rubble off of her "RAY DON'T JUST STAND THERE HELP ME!" He looked in shock so I kicked his feet from under him and he crawled to her, pulling the pole out of her and into his arms. I couldn't stand the sight. I saved her for him and here she was, dead. Ray got up and ran out as fast as he could, me following again as I ran I said "She was stronger than she seemed, stronger than anyone here but something had to have stopped her from being able to move, she would never have let herself die!" dodging bullets and blocking them, also using Ray's gun to clear a path he stayed silent with her in his arms. We soon got to the medical group and they took her but Ray didn't seem to want to leave her, so I pulled him away and back into the field as I heard him say "I'll kill them all" then he shrugged me off and ran back in.
