Part 14 chances

-The General-

I couldn't bear the was she recoiled when I told her to stay away from them. I was sitting in my office thinking about it, she looked as if I slapped her. I heard the door open and close to the training room, when I looked up I saw Willis and Tatsuo coming in. Her in her casual shorts and low cut crop top and boots, him in a workout outfit. I was curious as of why, but she looked like she wasn't in to much pain, I also knew he knew not to go to hard after a war, or a battle. But she threw a kick over his head, making him duck down. I admit she was pretty good even if she was wounded, strong or not she was not emotionless like Anaya. I had seen Anaya kill her own sister that day just to save us. But there was one thing that confused me, The explosion and how Anaya had been the closest but was only thrown back, while Ray was nearly dead. I was deep in thought when I heard Tatsuo groan from pain, looking up she was holding her shoulder and Willis was drooping his fists back at his side. I had already known he had just used his wipe out skill. He may have only hit her twice but it was probably enough to shatter her shoulder, so I got up and walked over to them, when I did Tatsuo looked at the ground "Everything okay?" Willis stood up straighter and said "Sir, yes sir." I sighed, I may have had a higher rank but I was younger, calling me sir was weird. "Alright." I went back to my office and watched as they went back to training. After an hour or two of them training a messenger came in and pointed to me and Willis. "Come fast. It's about the girl." We both shot up and ran out after him to Anaya.

-Anaya-

It was dark, so dark. The world was pitch black. I tried to speak, but I couldn't. I could hear words beyond the darkness "Is she ever going to wake up?" then I heard a familiar voice "We can't let her yet." I heard another person saying "is she.." then everything cut out and I saw the fight. Ray calling my name, Tatsuo crying out in pain. The a bright light, heat and being pushed back. I looked to see what threw me back as Ray hit the ground and Tatsuo was knocked back, I saw Becca, bleeding. Then darkness again. I felt my body being drained of everything. Life, emotion, everything. Until I started to feel warmth, a hug. A child was hugging me. I didn't know this child. It said something the turned to nothing. "An" I looked around "Ray!" I heard him, but couldnt see anything, tears filling my eyes, as I whined "Ray..." I was scared at first then all of my emotion was stripped away as I saw those five years, being tied up. A pain went through my neck, I strained to look as I saw it. All five years they were feeding on me, and I never noticed.

-The General-

She called out for Ray, twice. They said she was more awake then she should have been. Also they found out her heartbeat was abnormal. I knew she had been pregnant before but they said this was nothing like pregnancy, it was like she herself was abnormal and could also adapt to any situation. I realized that it was close to the full truth. I had personally witnessed it before, that night and during training. She used to dodge my hits like she could see what I was about to do, she was always fast on her feet. The only thing that match up was that they said that it was possible that she wasn't human. Until I thought about it. The speed, the emotionless, her eyes seemed to glow, the way she saw the future. I wrote it all down in my report, not sure how feel that we may have one of them in our base, also I knew Willis and Ray were in love with her so they wouldn't kill her. But it had been three weeks and Ray was improving, she was being kept under so they could experiment. Tatsuo walked in while I was in my office writing my report and hugged me. I was slightly shocked "Yes?" Her arms tightened and I felt her trembling arms, so I pulled her into my lap with my arms around her. "What happened?" I whispered into her hair. "Ray woke up, I was with him but all he did was ask for Anaya." she cried. I knew she liked him anyway, "It's alright Tatsuo, he's worried for her is all" she stopped crying to look up at me, hope filling her red eyes "I..think Somethings wrong with Anaya" was all I could say, her eyes seemed to look desperate as she whimpered "our freedom?" I had to make her stop crying, so I closed all the space between us, kissing her. Slightly pushing her back into the wall as she hesitated to kiss back, I didn't give up making her kiss me back. The kiss lingered for longer then I meant to let it, our hunger combining into a kiss, her soft lips drawing me in, me bing the one to break the kiss, her leaning forward slightly, then searching my face for guilt or anything. Me scanning her to find what she was thinking, hey eyes had become solid. Making me smile. "You okay now?" She didn't look ready to speak so she just shook her head no. I smiled and kissed down the center of her throat, making her stiffen up some, I could tell she wasn't used to this. As I slightly nibbled on the bottom of her ear, making her moan, from shock and pleasure, I smiled and whispered, "You alright?" She punched my arm softly as I kissed her. She relaxed as I picked her up by her waist, sitting her on the desk, neither of us daring to break the kiss.

-Tatsuo-

His kiss was deep enough I wouldn't forget it, he was so gentle as he was kissing up and around my chest and neck, around my lips. When we heard the door open, he jumped back, I slid off the counter and crossed my arms. It was the captain. The Generals hair was messed up from me, Captain looked at us back and forth but said nothing. Just handed a report in and left. I didn't wait till he put it down, I just kissed him, making him drop the report and kiss back. One arm around his back and one pressed to the wall. His hands at my waist pulling me closer and deepening the kiss. I felt myself needing him and giving into that need as he picked me up and placed me back on the counter, hands rubbing my thighs. We were tangled in each others embrace. Our moans going back and forth, at this moment nothing mattered more then him, his kisses on my neck, his moans mixing with mine. After a while it stopped, I was smiling and he was too, we were trying to catch our breath as I kissed him. After everything I smiled and laughed "So. General is in love?" I said it so teasingly that he chuckled. "Call me Phillip." I chuckled at that and leaned closer to his lips, whispering "Shall I call you that when we're all alone?" He kissed me so softly and then broke before my lips even got to touch his "Of course." he picked up my over shirt and handed it to me, I slowly put it on, him watching with a slight smile.

-The General-

I knew she was teasing me by the look she gave me. "That gives you..." I pulled her closer, staying between her legs "...extra punishment." she smiled as I finished my sentence. Kissing her again, she was the one to break away "mm Philip, we have to clean up your office now." she was right, it was was mess now. Papers everywhere, I smiled and pulled her off the counter and against the wall, "Little miss dragon afraid of a little mess?" she bit my bottom lip and said "No, but we don't want people knowing." I smiled and let her go. "True, you miss. Should go train." She blew a raspberry at me as she walked out, I couldn't help but smile at that, she could be so childish. I was cleaning for longer than I had realized, because when I looked back up Tatsuo was gone and Willis was walking in. "Ray is awake." I nodded "good. Anything on the girl?" He shook his head no and looked at me strangely "But Tatsuo looked oddly happy at dinner." I chuckled "she was training pretty well today." He nodded and said "Anaya has begun to wake up, the want permission to put her into a deeper sleep." I remember Tatsuo clinging to me earlier "Negative." was all I said. He nodded and walked out of my office.

-Anaya-

I woke up to an empty room, then a doctor coming in, then running back out, my field of vision was still so blurry as Tatsuo ran in. But her hair was now a bright blue and wavy. "What did you do to your hair?" she smiled and hugged me "Ray, you're alright." I rubbed her back and looked around, remembering the explosion. "Where's Anaya? Is she okay?" Tatsuo sat in a seat by the door and began explaining everything to me. I was shocked to hear that Anaya could possibly be in coma, that not even Tatsuo could see her. The general did favor Tatsu after all. But I knew I couldn't fight back to see her, I was in so much pain that I couldn't move well. Suddenly we saw the General and Captain running back. General calling to a doctor "She's up, get it ready!" Tatsuo stood but I grabbed her hand. "Stay... Let them work." She looked at terrified as I felt, what was going to happen to Anaya? My thoughts were interrupted as an alert went through the building. Instantly Tatsuo ran out of the room.

-Tatsuo-

I heard the alert and the only thing I thought of was Philip so I ran until I slammed into him on accident, we were both panting "what..is...happening.." He pulled me to him, covering my ears, that didn't stop me from hearing Anaya's scream and a gunshot. I began shaking and the only thought I had was to help her, so I elbowed him and ran to her, she was on the ground, covered in blood, a body behind her, her neck had holes in it. I looked at the body and it wasn't human. It was a vampire, and instantly it was on top of me. I screamed as it was trying to get it's fangs into my throat. I screamed for help as Captain and Phillip came running, Willis dropping at Anaya and carrying her into a room. Philip killing the vampire and pulling me to him, making him fall and sit against the wall, me shaking violently in his lap and crying "shh" was all I heard, I was still so scared. I had felt its breathe on my neck, I felt the chill of its wet teeth touching me. I curled closer into his lap as tears filled my eyes. He still didn't let go of me until I started to fall asleep. I slowly drifted to sleep hours later in his lap, I felt him moving me to a room and laying beside me. I remember his arms around my back holding me until I was falling back asleep, my shaking starting to come to a stop.
