Part 9 choices

-Ray-

    I hate myself, more than ever. Seeing Anaya laying there with Tatsuo and a lot of people around her, saving her life. I made her stay inside. I made her get hurt, I should have taken her with me. I had no idea what I was doing, just that I needed 3 guns, my knife and Tatsuo's whip. No one really noticed me going back inside, why would they, they were saving my girlfriends life while I was fighting to kill every last one that made her that way, they kept coming which was good because I wanted to keep killing. Soon later Tatsuo joined me and took her whip, killing what she could and having my back, few words had been said but "why aren't you with her Tatsu?!" she glanced at me and smiled "because she'll make it, she called out for you though" I stopped and looked at her "Can you handle this?" she merely nodded to me. I sprinted out of there as fast as I could to get back to Anaya.

-The captain-

When I got to where Anaya was laid down, captain was with her, panting "Capt-" He interrupted me with a laugh and looked up "with Tatsuo in there, we won't lose. Not when her fighting spirit comes out." I sat beside Anaya and held her hand "Is she going to be okay?" He looked at me and nodded, I then noticed he only had one arm, and one eye but he didn't seem to mind much, I knew he cared for Anaya like I did, maybe not as much but still a lot. He sighed "The general is going to come by in three days time. He will take command." that had me worried for Anaya "Are they going to test us again?" I looked at Captain and he said "They are testing the new ones like Anaya, so she has to be ready, injured or not" I looked at her, because she wasn't as strong, of course I noticed she killed over 30 when I was pulling the pole from her back.

-Anaya-

It had been almost three weeks since the General had been here, he was the same age as the captain though. I haven't fully recovered but he gave me three more weeks. I knew he only had because Ray probably asked for my leave of absence. I didn't know what else to do. I had tried to train but Ray refused me and was keeping a sharp eye out. I sat on my bed, ate and slept. I was reading when Tatsuo came in to check on my "Hey, Mrs. Freedom." She had a worried look in her eyes but smiled when I smiled at her "Hey" she sat beside me and laid her head on my shoulder, It did hurt my wound a little because I had to lean over, but it's okay. Tatsu was my best friend "How's your back and stomach?" I sighed "I was lucky, it didn't go into my stomach, it went deep but not through and not enough so I could die." she laughed "can you still have kids" I smiled and nodded "I don't know, probably" she got up and giggled "Good, because I want you and Ray to have little you and Rays running around" I blushed and sighed "In your dreams" I called after her as she ran out.

-Tatsuo-

Running out of Anaya's room I ran into the General, I realized who it was before I let my tongue slip and bowed slightly "And where have you been. Mrs. Tatsuo Dargon?" I hated when people said my last name. "I was checking on Anaya." he looks at her room and nodded "and how is she?" I had to be honest but I couldn't tell him she wasn't doing good "she's getting better." he looked like he didn't believe it but chose to ignore it "Good, then go fetch her so she can show me her skills." I was worried at that, who knows if she was ready or if she wasn't, I was so happy to see Ray walk around the corner "Ray~" he looked at me, then the General and bowed "Did you need something from Anaya general?" he looked at Ray, "I do." Ray looked annoyed and sighed "I'll get her." I went to say something but he gave me a warning look so I stopped talking.

-Anaya-

Ray hadn't said much to me, but I could tell he was worried and scared when he said "General wants you. Go." Then he just left. I got out of bed and it hurt, but I acted like it didn't. I changed into my training clothes which was just black jeans and a black tight tank top that highlighted my body, I hated that it was all Tatsuo had, but I was slightly bigger with my chest but that was alright, I put on my tennis shoes and went over to the training room where the general was waiting and he looked me up and down "You seem alright, your posture sucks and you look like you're hurting but that's fine, in a battle you have to fix these things." I just nodded. "Sir yes sir" he smiled and told me "come closer." so I did as told. We trained for hours on end, I knew he wasn't impressed but my back was burning, I could feel the blood dripping but ignored it, his foot came close to my ribs before I did a backhandspring, landing it in nice form, which finally made him smile I was slightly shocked I had, but he seemed glad. I was panting suddenly and the world was coming in and out of darkness I remember the General asking "Can you continue? Are you alright?" I hadn't known. The world went black and I felt arms under me as I fell but I couldn't tell whos it was. It was too dark.
