Breach

Part 6 Passion

-Ray-

It had been three weeks since we last got alone time, I hadn't seen Anaya look the same in training for a while, she was getting good but I didn't have time now to think to hard on that because I wanted to get my mind off things, so I grabbed my guitar and started to play a song form behind me I heard Tatsuo say "That's a love song, so tell me. Do you love Anaya?" I looked behind, Tatsuo was leaning against the wall to her left, legs crossed at the ankles and I shook my head "come on Tatsu, you know I don't care about people in that way, she is just a friend from a long time ago, I just feel bad for her is all." Tatsuo seemed to take it and sigh "well anyway, I have to get to work." I watched her leave and sighed to myself.

-Anaya-

I had never thought I'd hear him say that, I thought he felt the way about me as I felt for him. I ran to my room and slammed the door as I slid to my knees with tears in my eyes. I hated the thought that he didnt love me, that he just felt bad for me. I laid on my bed, with my short top and shorts, just crying as I heard the open all I could do was lay on my side and pretend to be asleep, the lights were off anyway so maybe it was Tatsuo to come get me for dinner, I relaxed as the door shut, but someone laid behind me and put there arms around me, so I faced them and instantly he pulled me to his chest, there it was the familiar scent of him, it was Ray so I put my arms around him and cried. He stroked my back slowly and whispered "You heard me talking to Tatsu didn't you?" I nodded and his arms tightened "I didn't mean a word I said, An I love you" My lips found his as soon as he said it, it was an invitation but this time he didn't hesitate to kiss back, he was on top of me in a second, he didn't break this kiss as his hands ventured down my stomach but he stopped and broke the kiss then smiled as said "I love you An." his lips came back down on mine before I could respond.

-Ray-

Pulling away before I took it way to far Anaya made a slight noise begging me to kiss her again, but I only laid back beside her. "Come on An, we have a big day coming up." she smiled and nuzzled into me as I pulled her close again. I loved her being in my arms, around me, as long as she was safe I would always be happy. I had loved this girl since I was little, we grew up together, so what was there not to love. I fell asleep holding her to me as close as I could.

-Anaya-

The sun was bright when I woke up, and Ray's arms were still around me tight enough that I couldn't move, so I didn't, he looked calm in his sleep so I kissed his nose and his eyelashes fluttered open and he grinned, pulling me closer to him and whispered "stay" as he went back to sleep, I smiled and whispered back "always". After a few hours I had fallen back asleep and when I woke up I wasn't fully awake yet, I felt around the bed for Ray and sat up when he wasn't there. I smiled as I saw a note beside me and read it. It said: "You were too cute, I couldn't wake you up, I went out with Captain to scout, I'll be back later. I promise. Love you." I smiled and said "I love you too."
