Part 13 chances

-Anaya-

I knew the circumstances were high, but I decided to go out for a walk I needed a recap on what was happening. I heard crying not to long into the walk, a little girl? This far outside the wall? My gut told me to be on watch for anything but I didn't trust it, since it was a little girl "sissy, where are y-you" It took me a moment to realize the voice "Becca?" the crying stopped, a little girl with brown hair and dark violet eyes turned around to look me dead in the eyes. I was terrified, so I ran, ran back to camp and kept running till I slammed into Captain he looked worried "Ana-" I interrupted him, trying to catch my breath "They're coming!" he didn't hesitate to run to the training room and mere moments later Tatsuo imurged with my sword and her whip, throwing me my sword and running off in the direction she came from. I ran back outside where my sister stood. Watching me with dead eyes. I looked her up and down and felt myself burning with desire to hug her again, tell her I would help her. But deep down I knew, I had to kill her, as her nails grew and she came faster at me then I could dodge, but I had slightly moved, getting my arm sliced, it didn't bother me too bad, soon while me and Becca were deep into battle, me dodging her, swinging, her dodging some. The others came out, then more like her appeared, thousands, all of our soldiers were fighting, the captain and General side by side, smiling while fighting, Tatsuo alone and Ray alone, me against my sister. "Join me sissy" she giggled and I kept dodging "Come play~" I ignored it as I was close enough to her to take the shot, and I did. I slammed my katana into her heart and she stopped laughing, pain showing in her eyes as they faded. I wanted to cry as she fell against me, whispering "I love you sis" I pushed her body off and went back into the crowd, pulling Tatsuo and Ray with me "Fight as a team!" they both nodded and Tatsuo said "We got your back, she them you're the true freedom!" I smiled as Ray looked at me and nodded.

-The general-

I saw Anaya pulling Ray and Tatsuo into a herd, what was she thinking? She told me that they were going to die. Willis threw a vampire at me and I sliced it's head off "what's got your attention?!" I looked at him "Nothing" the fight lasted for hours and so many were dead, then there was a bright searing light, the smell of smoke, and Anaya being thrown so far back and had to do a roll to get back up, I looked to see what had done that. It was a blast. An explosion more like, I looked around, seeing Tatsuo fighting, barely on her feet and Ray on the ground. We finished off our herd and went to protect the fallen ones. When I got to Tatsuo she was on the ground. I looked to Willis and he was with Ray, dragging him next to Tatsuo, both breathing but hardly. Then I looked to Anaya who was fighting a small one. That must be Becca. They did look alike was my first thought. The blood lust seeping out of Anaya was strong enough you could almost see it, the little girl was able to dodge Anaya easily until Anaya said something. Then she killed it, slinging the blood off her blade. We were all dyed blood red by now. Suddenly all vampires froze, then retreated. I looked to Anaya who was holding a violet colored rock, that was also mixed with red. When every vampire retreated, Anaya hit the ground. Willis ran to her side, she had it...the only thing that could save us. I was proud until I heard Tatsuo moaning from how much pain she was in, her blood was pooling around her, so I carried her into the nurses station where they had been picking up ones that were alive, a woman had taken Ray already, then came back for Tatsuo who looked to be in terrible condition. I went outside to Willis who was helping Anaya sit up as she mumbled "we won"...We had and it was all thanks to her, she was cut up and bruised, but she was okay. She has saved us for now.

-Tatsuo-

I heard people talking for an hour or two, than I didn't. I was so tired how could I care? When I woke up I was in my room, on my bed. My whip was on the dresser close to me and the fan was on, when I sat up a burning pain was in my body. I looked at the source, I had been hurt during the battle, or was it the explosion? I remembered Anaya yelling, Ray fighting, then light...then nothing. There was a knocking at my door "Tatsuo?" It was the general "Yes sir?" He walked in without another word and said "You've slept for almost a week, I looked at him "really?" He nodded I looked at my whip, remembering Ray being closer than I was "How's Ray and Anaya?" He looked at the floor and said "Anaya saved us all, she still hasn't woken up, and Ray is waking up slowly, they want to keep Anaya under coma for a little while so her body can heal. She used a lot of things and it took alot from her." I felt tears filling my eyes for her, she saved us all and they wouldn't let her wake up? I got up. How could I stay down? They were hurting Anaya, and Ray wasn't waking up. I went to run out of the room, but the general put his arm out, stopping me dead in my tracks, making me wince out of pain. "Where do you think you're going soldier?" I looked at him "To an-" he stopped me "You can't. That's an order." The first time he had ordered anyone here, and it was me
