San

I arrive at school today much earlier than I normally do, and decide to sit in the senior lounge since no one has gotten to school yet. Last night I had a date with Yeji but interestingly enough I couldn't stop thinking about that boy that utterly hated me yet made me think about myself deeply. Did Mingi tell him I'm gay? I know Mingi would never spill such a deep and personal secret. Am I that obvious?  I realize too late that I say that part out loud.

"Not sure what you're talking about but yeah, you're that obvious." That boy from yesterday peeks through the door, and leans on the frame giving me the same smug look that he gave me during my speech yesterday.

"Come on, what did I ever do to you?" I stare at him, exasperated.

"I don't know to be honest." I see his eyes soften as he says that and he approaches me slowly and he turns his head away from me. He then sits on the chair across from me, setting his backpack down hesitantly. "Why are you here so early?" He decides to ask, and I look at him suspiciously.

"Guess I couldn't wait to start the day." He laughs quietly at that. Cute.

"I wish I felt that way about school." He pulls his hand through his hair and starts to tuck in his white shirt into his khaki pants, slowly.

"I hate these uniforms." I say quickly, but what I really hate is the fact that this boy is making me crazy over tucking in his shirt.

"Yeah, should have gone to a public school." He smirks at me, probably noticing my red face, and I recompose myself, taking a deep breath.

"Look, I know I could be doing better as the president or whatever, but who has time to get to know everyone and be a good representative of the class, it's tough." My eyes plead for his forgiveness. Why do I care what he thinks of me? The old San would never care.

"You want my name?" He doesn't address anything I just said and it makes me slightly frustrated but I nod my had against my will. "It's Wooyoung."

"I knew that." Of course I didn't but I am hoping he believes me as I start some homework I never finished from the night before.

"You're pretty." I hear him whisper, and I am not sure if I am actually supposed to hear it or not, so I just pretend I couldn't. I hear him sigh then, and he picks up his backpack and starts to leave.

"No, wait, stay with me. We have so long before first hour starts." And I could have sworn I saw him smile. He nods at me and sits back down, but I motion for him to join me on the couch, and he hesitantly does so, unpacking some homework. We both silently do homework for an hour and I listen to his soft breathing and steal glances at his beautiful face. Am I whipped? Probably.

The bell rings, and surprisingly no other seniors had joined us during the hour.

"See you in math." I hear him say and I stare at his backside as I nod, watching his curves and licking my lips against my will. I hate myself.

"Sannnnieeee! Where were you this morning, you never did morning prayer, and Seonghwa oppa had to do it." I scoffed at her mentioning Seonghwa as the aforementioned male approaches us.
