Let me just start this off by saying how grateful I am to you guys for reading <3. Your comments are funny so I am just going to leave the story as is (after I do a quick cleaning up session of some obvious mistakes) even with all the little mistakes because fixing some of that would make your comments not make sense haha. Anyway, this will be some fluff and then I'll think about writing some other bonus content (if you guys want to suggest anything do that here ^-^). Thanks for being so supportive and kind, and I hope you enjoy this <3
"Big day ahead of you, huh?" Seonghwa jabs at the side of my arm, walking next to me while we deliver some flyers for a big end of the year event coming up. I have to give a speech about it next hour, so I have already been worried all morning. Still, Seonghwa's been helping out as much as he can, so I have nothing much to truly be nervous about, plus my speech should be short and sweet.
"San, let me take these back, go talk to Wooyoung." He smiles, taking the flyers in my hand and adding it to his stack. I give him an appreciative smile, and navigate my way to where I know Wooyoung's first hour is.
"Excuse me, we need Wooyoung for a quick promotional photo shoot, he should be back before the mass." A few students in the classroom look at each other knowingly, but as I watch Wooyoung look up with that stupid grin on his face, I let my self consciousness drift away. The teacher smiles at me, guiding Wooyoung out the door. It sounds like she really doesn't like him anyway.
"So where are we posing? By the cross over there? On top of this plaque? No. Let's take the picture right here." Wooyoung plays his sarcastic bit, throwing a peace sign next to a statue of a saint by the front door of the building."
"Wow the applicants are rushing in." I roll my eyes, giggling slightly, and pulling Wooyoung so that we walk closely with my arm around his waist.
"Woo, buy us muffins." I suddenly whine, looking at the empty lunch line in the cafeteria we are about to pass, and he pokes one of my dimples before obliging. I smile at him fondly as he goes to pay, bowing at the lunch lady before trotting back over to me. He hands me the blueberry muffin, knowing it's my favorite, and starts eating his banana nut. Joined at the hip again, I lead him over to the empty senior lounge where we always spend our alone time at school
"Only cringy memories are associated with this place." Wooyoung laughs, making himself at home on the large leather couch, putting his feet up on the table. I laugh too, remembering our very first interactions, not anything I'm proud of now.
"I don't know I feel like I was pretty cool. Especially when I did this" I demonstrate, setting my muffin down before positioning myself on his lap and straddling his waist. Our noses touch as he sets his own muffin down as well.
"I think it was the other way around, but go off." We both can't contain our laughter, and I hide my head in his chest, feeling his heartbeat which increases pace when I shift on his legs. "But you wouldn't kiss me." He pouts, resting his hands delicately on my waist while I place a gentle kiss on his jaw line. I hold his chin, readjusting myself so that I can reach his lips more naturally. I keep it soft and light, my tongue only gracing his lower lip before separating.
"You make me so happy, Woo." I slide off his lap, keeping one leg over his while I cuddle up to his side, picking my muffin back up to finish.
"You're so beautiful." Wooyoung almost says to himself, holding my free hand and playing with a ring on my index finger.
"No, you are. Gorgeous. I love you." The words are still so fresh and even as they leave my mouth, my lips tingle at how great they sound leaving them.
"I love you." He plays with the words, saying them with so much passion, it makes my heart giddy. He joins us for another short kiss, knowing I will have to leave soon to prepare for my speech.
"Practice on me." He says once we separate, and I assume he is referring to my speech so I clear my throat like I am about to say something important.
"Class of 2020, I would like to announce an incoming event to commemorate our graduation. We will be going on a retreat in order to spend more time bonding and discussing our futures before we head out for our new adventure of life. I hope you all will consider joining us." I turn shy at Wooyoung's intense stare, his eyes sometimes drifting down to my lips.
"You owe me one if I have to go to this retreat." He laughs, pulling me back towards him.
"How about I get us our own room?" I say gleefully letting my head fall onto his shoulder, my hand drape across his lap.
"Satisfactory, throw in some ice cream and I'll follow you off a cliff, Sannie."
"You would be stupid and do that, wouldn't you?" A lazy kiss, and I can almost drift to sleep at his even breaths.
"Sannie, I should head back. I'll see you at the mass-" My fearful eyes must have caught his attention as he holds my shoulders firmly, looking into them. "I know it's your first time having a speech after everything, but don't worry about everyone. They can suck my dick."
"They better not, that's my job." I humph, clinging onto his arm while he tries to get us off the couch. He indulges in one more kiss before he forces me off of him so we can walk back.
"This whole student council thing is overrated, if I hear some dumb prayer come out of your mouth again, I might go insane." He drawls, swinging our hands as we go down the hallway.
"Yeji gets to do that now, I am loving this demotion." I smile at his cute laugh.
"We're still on for bowling tonight, right?" Seonghwa and Yeji are set to bowl with us after school clubs today along with Wooyoung's friends who probably hate me still, but I just have to deal with that. If anything I deserve it, I just hope I can prove myself to them.
"Yeah of course. And I'll see you later." I hook him by the waist, quickly kissing him before turning him around to face the door to his first hour class. I mouth a quick 'I love you' and he smirks, giving me a finger heart before disappearing inside the classroom.
I must be the luckiest guy alive.
