San

I make it back in time to blend in with the crowd leaving the chapel, and head hurriedly to my first hour, constantly making sure I didn't forget a detail during my cleaning up process that would alert people of what I just did. I arrive at my desk next to Mingi, and he definitely notices something is up as he touches the back of his hand to my forehead the second I sit down.

"You don't have a fever, what is up with you?" He asks rather suspiciously.

"I don't know Mingi, I guess I'm just stressed." I sound natural since I am stressed, but I also want nothing more than to just tell Mingi what's on my mind.

"Where did you take Wooyoung at mass, and why did you never come back, I could have sworn..."

"He was being stupid and disruptive, I just sent him to the office." I snap before he can finish his thought.

"Okay... I guess, but you could have come back."

"I was just taking advantage of the moment, I did some homework." He rolls his eyes.

"You know we're talking about this later." He turns to the board and smirks making me sigh loudly.

"You know I hate you right?"

"Yeah I hate you too."

--------------

I walk out of math feeling sort of out of it, but I manage to still retain some memory of my schedule, so I trudge towards Spanish. On the way Yeji catches my wrist and turns me around.

"Why'd you leave mass today? I missed you." She pouts cutely and I only shake my head.

"I was dealing with some disruptive student, don't worry about me Yeji." I grab her waist and give her a peck on her forehead before turning into my classroom.

"Sannie! I'll see you at lunch!" I hear her call out as I sit down, the first in the class. I close my eyes for a good two minutes when the bell rings and I notice everyone has already sat down and started pulling their stuff out of their backpacks and are turned to the teacher. I do the same quickly, trying to look prepared and keep my reputation, of being a smart kid, up.

"Today we are going to start on some group projects, you can choose your partner but I'll choose if you can't!" She glares at some of the trouble makers, including Wooyoung who sits in the back of my class. I blush at the sight of him, only having realized he was in my class yesterday. Everyone starts to choose partners, and I start to head towards Mingi who is also in this class but the teacher calls my name as I do.

"San, would you do me a favor and pair up with Wooyoung, I think he'll perform better if he has a good influence on his side."

"Uh... Yeah, of course." I sort of stutter when I see Wooyoung lift his head to hear the conversation.

"Thank you San, I can always count on you." The teacher smiles at me and immediately turns to her laptop, so I head to the back quickly saying sorry to Mingi.

"What a coincidence" Wooyoung remarks as I set my stuff down.

"I dare say." I smirk at him and try to start a train of thought about what we were actually doing, but Wooyoung's soft breaths next to me keep me from concentrating. "So like, do you want to start the script, I think it's about Hispanic holidays..."

"Ha, sure. Chill okay, I'm not scary."

"You make it sound easy." That's when I turn to him, and I see his eyes and beautiful smile. I can't control my own smile or the barely audible moan that just Wooyoung and I can hear when Wooyoung runs his hand through his hair.

"It's not easy for me either. At least we have after school to work on this now."

"Yeah, I still need you address." Wooyoung nods at that and writes his address down in the corner of my planner, and I blush sightly at the action. "So cute." I shake my head before we actually start to do work for the rest of the hour, concentrating and all, at least for the most part.

--------------

Five minutes before class ends, I head back to my seat and Mingi glares at me for a long time before heading to my seat.

"Okay something is up between you two."

"Are we that obvious?" I try not to spontaneously cry at the fact, instead keeping my cool.

"No, I was just looking for it. I didn't know...You could have told me."

"Hey can we talk about this later?" I ask, pleading with my eyes, and he nods, telling me to meet him right after school to which I agree.

"San, be careful alright?" I nod slowly and smile at him before he packs up his stuff and heads to his third hour.

--------------

The day lasts forever, but the final bell rings for my sixth hour and I happily exit the classroom, heading to my locker. There I find Mingi waiting expectantly, and I hurry myself up so I can get the conversation over with, trying not to attract attention. Yeji is also nearby, but I distract her by telling her I have a surprise in my locker that I don't want her to see, she leaves excitedly and I sigh.

"Mingi I can explain okay?"

"I'm just upset you never talked to me about this, and look what you are doing to poor Yeji, she doesn't deserve this..."

"I know, I know, I just can't control myself around him." From there I go on to describe, with the least amount of words possible, what has happened so far. I am met at the end of my rant with a blank stare and then a fit of laughter that lasts too long.

"You're lucky you haven't been caught yet. You'll get kicked out of student council the second someone finds out about this, and your dad would be pissed."

"Believe me, I know. Which is why I can't break up with Yeji, and I can't fully be with Wooyoung, as much as I would love to be."

"You say my name?" The aforementioned interrupts Mingi and I, and I swallow quickly.

"Yeah I was just telling Mingi that we were finishing up our Spanish project right now." I answer as calmly as possible, trying not to look nervous or flustered.

"Got it yeah, meet me there, San?"

"Yeah sure, I'll see you in ten." I can hear Mingi snicker as Wooyoung leaves to his car, and I punch him lightly.

" You already told me you were gay, this is just a side note, come on San, next time you tell me right away, it can't be that scary." I nod and we part ways, me heading to my car to meet Wooyoung at his house, nervous as hell.
