Emma's POV
" Mason what's going on ? Where are we going ? " I asked him for the millionth time but as stubborn he is he won't tell me a thing .
" Okay would you please at least tell me how any of this is related to Jac ?" I tried asking in a different way but he won't budge .
I was getting worried cause I have never seen him like this .
Quiet .
"Okay can I at least get your phone ." I asked hoping he wouldn't know why I asked for his phone. I want to see whom he texted and what .
" Would you please shut up Emma . I'm trying to drive here . " suddenly he shouted at me .
Something's really wrong . Because first of all Mason never shouts at me . NEVER . And second of all he never ever has ever stopped me from using his phone . NEVER. What did Kayden said to him ?
I looked outside the window trying to figure where we are going but I couldn't . Kayden doesn't live in this part of the town . Hell none of the people I know live in this part of the town . Big hospitals and complex shopping malls are there . That's it .
So why in the world's name are we here ?
I don't know why but this route seems oddly familiar like I have come here before . I can't pin point where we are going but I know something bad might have happened that Mason is not even uttering a single word. The death grip he has on the staring wheel , repeatedly checking his watch , taking deep breathes....... I know something is definitely up .
