Notes - There seemed to be mixed views about whether or not I should write a chapter form Hayl'spov so I compromised by only writing a short chapter in his pov; because it is a short chapter I've posted Sameal's pov at the same time.

Again I would luv your votes and comments and would also luv it i you checked out Vampire Infant and Dear Diary also.

Thank ou all your your support and feedback so far; I hope you enjoy this next chapter and far those of you awaiting a kiss I promise I wont make you wait much longer.

Hayl's POV

Leniency and Nausea

I slammed on the gas trying to make the piece of junk called a car travel faster; I could see Salisa's figure in my rear view mirror and it took all my strength not to turn around and quite literally rip her head off.

I knew I was being careless allowing her pardon for her disobedience and cruelty towards Lilith that my leniency would backfire; but I knew that I would lose Lilith's trust and quite possibly Sameal's if I pursued her punishment.

Their trust was very important to me and I knew I couldn't risk losing it; it was imperative that I had them both on my side. So as I reluctantly sped away from her I could only hope that Lilith's compassion toward her would protect us at little longer from the inevitable chase that was coming.

Deep down I knew my hopes were naïve; that Salisa was far too self-adsorbed and envious of Sameal's attraction to Lilith to not seek out some sort of revenge but I tried to ignore those thoughts.

Just as I tried to ignore the fluffiness of what was going on between Lilith and Sameal in the backseat of the car; for their closeness made me just as nauseous as it made me nervous.

Sameal's POV

Nuns

I wrapped my arms protectively around Lilith's fragile frame, loving the way she nestled her head into my chest almost adoringly, I'd held her in a similar way the first time we had travelled in this car; but this time she held me back - or at least it felt that way with her tiny hand resting upon my shoulder.

I felt myself drift in and out of consciousness as we sped through the darkness; ignoring the callous glares that Hayl seemed to direct my way through his rear view mirror every time another cars headlights lit the car with a yellowish glow.

Lilith had slept soundly almost immediately after the ancient hotel which looked so much more glorious from the outside than in did inside disappeared from our view. I was unsure as to whether or not she had noticed Salisa's figure watching us leave; but if I'm honest this act made me very apprehensive and judging by Hayl increasingly frosty mood I imagined he felt the same way too.

Although I don't actually think Hayl had ever been in anything other than a frosty mood ever and judging by his scowls Salisa wasn't the only one he was angry at, which did worry me. However I tried to ignore my worries and instead enjoy the closeness of Lilith's body beside mine letting unconsciousness overtake me once again.

I'm uncertain of how long I slept for, because it was still dark when Hayl swerved the car to a harsh stop, the sudden motion of the action dragged me away from my dreams but it was only when he swiftly dragged Lilith out from the car by her frail shoulder that I became alerted of the dangers that must of be upon us for Hayl so react to swiftly.

Despite how abruptly Hayl had hauled Lilith out from the car she still remained asleep even when he bellowed loudly "We have a train to catch - leave the cases. there's no time." He then scooped Lilith's sleeping form up in his arms and raced ahead of me.

I struggled to keep up with him due to the bustle of people that were stampeding towards us, I honestly couldn't understand why so many people were out and about so late in the night; surely they had beds to be in somewhere. Whether they did or not, they made it extremely difficult for us to weave our way down the steps to the underground platform while the crowd shoved against us, I was extremely thankful that Hayl managed to keep a tight hold onto Lilith during all the commotion.

Gratefully the dirty platform was quietly deserted allowing us to comfortably leap onto the awaiting crowded train just as the doors slid slowly shut; much to my surprise Lilith's eyes only fluttered open when we were safely on the train and she assessed our change of scenery with sleepy curiosity. Even though she was now awake Hayl continued to cradle her protectively much to her expression of reluctance; she didn't however question our whereabouts instead she merely scrutinized our surroundings hesitantly with wide eyes.

Hayl did the same, suddenly stiffening as his eyes handed on a couple of nuns sat uncomfortably on the trains fold down seats; after locking eyes with me we tried unsuccessfully to weave our way silently through the crowd into the next carriage without the nuns faithful eyes seeing us.

Unfortunately a vulgar bad-mannered man cursed loudly as we tried to politely shove past him, his bad mouthed words obviously caught the nun's attention and they looked over in disgust. Luckily seconds later the train slowed to a stop and we leaped quickly from it hopefully unseen by the religious women.

It was only when I noticed Hayl's stern focused expression that I realised the danger wasn't yet over; that it had in fact just begun.
