you told me your greatest secret. something i cannot tell anyone,
for they would try to take it away if they knew. it's a tragedy and it's beautiful and it made me feel whole again.

and then i told you mine.
it's something that i thought would be hard to say, but you made it easy. and as much as i'd like to paint it across billboards and scream it to the world,
i know that i can't.

because it is a secret meant for the two of us. something the world is so desperate to stop. but deep down the world knows it is inevitable. so, until the time is different, not right but different, i will hold our little secret in the very best part of myself. the part that was once dark and shadowed, but now let's in the warm sunlight.
and here i will keep it so it can grow.
