Chapter 26: Old friends

Piper's pov

As me and Johnny sat in the DX the bell ringed meaning someone walked in. "Hello and welcome to the DX" Johnny said I just kept my head down because I didn't like that I had to wear this thing on my arm. I think it's called a sling. "Hey, kid got any smokes in this place?" A hard voice asked I knew that voice. I looked up to see Creature.

An old friend of mine.

"Creature?" I asked "Piper?! How it going kid?" He asked smiling. "You two know each other?" Johnny asked "hell yeah! Piper and I go way back to when she was in jail as a little girl. Strad me right in the eye with a fork" he laughed. I did, that's why he wears an eyepatch. "Cool. Hey where you get all them scars?" Johnny asked.

"You want know where got all these scars? Go ask your mother" he laughs. I laughed as well, Johnny just laughed awkwardly and nervously. "Anyways I got go see ya around kid" he said "you staying in town?" I asked "yup got some "unfinished business" to attend to" he said using air quotes "alright man see ya around" we shook hands.

"Did he make a joke on sleeping with my mom?" Johnny asked "yup he like that. The guy like 22 and his name Creature because two things one: cause how he kind of like some kind of animal or "creature", two: because girls he slept with call him that. Plus it's his last name fits him" I said with a slight shrug drinking some soda.

"Okay then" Johnny said "hey I know you want go on that date to night but maybe we gonna have hold it off just a bit longer" I said cupping his face so we be looking into each other's eyes.

"Guess it would be for the best" he sighed looking down. "Yeah look at me" I said softly but he kept his head down.
"Johnny please I know you really want to go on this date and I want to as well but right now we can't, okay?"
He sighed shaking his head. "I know but I been waiting for weeks to give you a date that I know you'll love" he looked up. "You don't change do ya? Your still that cute, sweet, puppy dog faced boy I fell in love with" I smiled kissing him on the lips. As I tried pull away Johnny wouldn't let me, I smiled through the kiss and we soon pulled away. "You are just to cute" I said pecking his lips. We looked to a whole lot of bikers riding in on motorcycles.

"Oh man! Looks like a family reunion!" I said smiling "what?" Johnny asked. "Them there are my family well half family it's complicated" I said as they walked in. Two women with a biker outfits walked in. "Piper!" They yelled "Mudflap! Sludge!" I yelled back.
We laughed. "So how is baby beast?" Sludge asked crossing her arms smiling "ain't a baby no more but I bet she still got that beast Instant still, don't ya?" Mudflap said putting me in a headlock.

"So kid how ya been?" Sludge asked as Mudflap let go of me "good good, oh! This here is my boyfriend Johnny" I said putting him a side hug smiling.
"Well ain't you a cutie" Mudflap smiled and laughing "uh thanks" Johnny awkwardly smiled back rubbing the back of his neck. "So baby beast have you seen Creature?" Sludge asked lighting a cig "yeah just left, why?" I shrugged. "No reason in particular" Mudflap said "wait so your real names are Mudflap and Sludge?" Johnny asked "yup" Mudflap said proudly "why? Problem with it, Johnny?" Sludge asked in a hard, mean, offended tone "no, no, no! Some of best friends got names like that!" Johnny answered scared quickly shaking his head and hands. He was luckily for a numerous count of reasons right now.

"Oh really like what?" Sludge asked in a very disbelieving tone "Sodapop and even Ponyboy" he answered. "Seems legit" Mudflap shrugged "he ain't lying" I said backing him up on it. "Anyways love to stay and chat but we gotta get going" Sludge said "yeah, see ya baby beast" Mudflap waved I waved back.

I sighed happily "so you're related to them?" Johnny asked "half related" I answered. "Such lovely people" he mumbled cleaning a bit "anyways looks like my past is coming back" I said "now tell me is that good or bad?" Johnny asked.

I shrugged "maybe good, maybe bad. All depends who's coming back so far so good but trouble isn't so far away when it comes to my family, my friends, and me. I better keep an eye out for an more people of my past".
He sighed "just be careful" he said.

"Yeah but what I don't get is why? I mean first my parents, then Milk, and now Creature, Mudflap and, Sludge" I said banging on the counter. "Yeah. Quick question why they call you baby beast?" He asked looking at me.
"Long story that we ain't gonna get into" I said with a wave of my hand.

"Yeah but-"

"But nothing"

"But-"

"But nothing!" I Bang the counter again in anger he put his head down looking real sad. "Johnny I'm sorry I said no and I mean no, okay it's not important right now and we don't need to get into it, okay?" I sighed he looked up "okay" he half smiled. "Good" I smiled back.
"Now let's go before someone else from my past shows up" I said looking out the window making sure no one was coming. "Sure just got tell bill I'm going so he can start his shift he sleeping in the break room" he said walking into employees break room.

When he walked out we went picked up the kids from school and went home.

Looks like I got some old friends coming back and more of my past is being revealed. I gotta be on the look for real now, hopefully no one that wants me dead or something comes around looking for me, already got a enough trouble around here without them looking for me. Gotta be careful.

A.N-hope you enjoyed! Now I know that I haven't update in a while and I'm sorry but I have a life too! Well kind of I mean I went to my friend's Bar mitzvah which was really fun! Also I haven't been feeling it to write but don't worry I'll still update as much as I can trying keep school from getting in the way, which is hard! Anyways....
