Chapter 31: bunny ears/surprise

Piper's POV

After having my morning sickness, I had a Big breakfast. The kids were at school, everyone working or out so I thought I go to Mrs. Green hours and pay here a visit. I kind miss her.

"Hello Piper how the baby?" she asked, I looked at her "how you know about the baby?" I asked. "Johnny comes over a lot about how be a dad, he...a bit worried but I'm sure he'll do fine" she answered with a small smile.

I returned it. "Okay, well the baby is fine just...I'm starting to show and I guess it'll be soon for me to go to the doc again make sure everything okay" I said, feeling uneasy from more sickness and thinking about how we don't got a nursery for the baby.

"Well I have a nursery if you need one, it was meant for my child but we never had one" she said sadly looking at a picture of her husband. "I'm sorry" I said "it's fine now come and see the nursery" she said getting up.

We went to a room with a ceiling that looked like the sky with clouds, sun, little colorful birds, and a baby blue back around. The walls looked like a Garden, like the one she owned with lots of flowers and little animals. A large white crib with light colored blankets and pillows and a little mobile with the stars and a moon. A soft play rug, a closest, a little baby station with bottles, diapers, clothes...etc.

It was perfect for any baby girl, boy, or even both! I smiled with joy as tears of happiness started to form in my eyes.

"Johnny, he ,he, uh, he kind of fixed up the old room and he working on few other things but don't say I told you" she said. "Other things? Like what?" I asked looking to her "I can't say be lucky enough I showed you this" she answered. I didn't mind or push it.

Lizzy's POV

Danny and I were playing on the slide and I was wearing these pink bunny ears. When some of the older kids came over and took my bunny ears "hey! Give them back" I said trying take them but the boy was to tall for me.

"Aw the baby want her bunny ears back?" He asked "yes now give you jerk" I said angrily. "Oh that wasn't every nice" he said mockingly "my mommy is gonna beat you up" I warned. I know she could.

"Oh your mommy? I'm so scared, yeah right who's your mom anyways?"

"Piper Winston" Danny answered.

They looked at me. "I hear she pregnant" one of his friends said "she can't do nothin" another said. "I think I'm gonna keep this" he said I frowned.

After school I went to the DX with Danny. "Where your bunny ears?" Daddy asked "oh just put them away" I lied. He smiled and walked away as creature, mudflap, and sludge walked in. "Hey kid how it going?" Mudflap asked. I looked at them a smile creeping on my face as I formed a plan in my head a perfect plan.

I talked to them about what's happen and they said they'll help. We found the kid that took my bunny ears in a lot. "Aw it's the baby back for pink baby bunny ears" he teased me. I whistled and we could hear the sounds of motorcycle engines start as they circled the both of us. There was grey looking dust flying around in the circle.

"Now give me back my bunny ears before I have all these bikers beat you up" I said over the sound of the motorcycles "oh like I'm scared" he huffed crossing his arms. "You should be, because you have pissed me off and yes I maybe be young and small but I know people, I people from the hood that could beat the living hell out of you. Now give me back my bunny ears" I put my hand out waiting.

"No"

One snap of my fingers and the engines stopped, creature jumped off his motorcycle pulling a blade out of his boot. "You better give this little lady her bunny ears back or I'll cut of your ear" creature threatened puting the blade to his ear. His eyes grew big.
