Chapter 21: I got this

Johnny had just killed the soc holding Ponyboy's head under water. The socs ran when the body fell, Johnny pulled ponyboy out of the water that was now mixed with blood. "I-I killed him" Johnny said in a shaky voice "I think I'm going to be sick" pony said looking at the dead body "I think I will to" Danny whispered to me.

"It's okay I won't watch" Johnny said "I ain't going watch that" I whispered, pony ran to the spot we were we head for a bush next to it. Pony threw up I closed my eyes, it was gross.

He walked back to Johnny we got luckily that we weren't seen. They started to talk and headed for Buck's, I always wanted to go to Buck's, but not like this more like when I'm 14, and not following my adopted dad to go there to find out how get out of town so he won't get jailed, isn't my life great!

We followed them they talked to Buck then walked in, but Buck stopped us from getting in. "You kids shouldn't be here, now go run along" he told us "shut it dumbass, we'er here for the boys that was just here" I said.

He looked at me "your Piper's kid alright" he laughed "you know my mom?" I asked "liz not the time" Danny said "right sorry" I cleared my throat "let us in or else" I said acting as tuff as I could. "No can do" he said "just let us in" Danny begged "no now leave" he said annoyed, I was to, with him.

"That's it, sorry about this Buck but we got a job to do and we'er going to do it" I said then stepped on his foot, punching him in the gut and we ran pass him. He was drunk, upset, and in pain so I think we won't be welcomed back any time soon, but that was the last thing on my mind right now.

We ran up to a room we saw them walk into a room we then put our ears to the door to hear what they were saying. "Are we really going to need a heater?" we heard Johnny ask "yes and don't point that thing at me, it's loaded, now hurry up and go" a voice said.

I knew that voice it was a voice with one of the strongest New York accent I know. That voice belonged to the one and only Dallas Winston, and he was dumb enough to give Johnny Cade and Ponyboy Curtis a heater, a loaded heater, he's an idiot right now I think he's drunk or just that dumb.

They were about to walk out when Buck came and took us to the other room. "What the hell?!" he asked "what?" Danny asked him "you know damn well what" Buck said upset with us, don't care. "Look Buck I'm sorry but we got go" I said we tried to get pass him but he just pushed us back.

"You two ain't going now where no how" he said "Buck you don't want get in my way cause it won't be pretty" I said we had to keep going and he was stopping us, he in the way, dumbass.

"She not wrong" Danny added "your 5 what can you do to someone like me?" he asked "this" I started to beat on him. "Okay okay I give" he said bloodily and beaten, I didn't want hurt him but he asked for, you heard him say it.

"Good now you go back to your little party and stay there, ya dumb drunk" I said he got up and left without another word. "You are one tuff 5 year old, it's scares me sometimes how real you are, your a lot like your uncle" Danny said.

"Which one?" I asked with a small smirk, I knew which one he meant, but I wanted him to say it. "Dallas, and your mom it's like a mix, of all of them, but mostly them two" he said with a straight face, "flattery will get you nowhere Danny, boy, now let's go we'er never going to get to them now" I said.

We started to run to the place they talked about, gone. "Dammit!" I said hitting one of the trains. "We missed them, thanks to Buck" Danny said.

"No, not because of Buck, because we weren't meant to be on that train with them" I said the wind picked up blowing my large T-shirt in the wind almost like a dress. I closed my eyes taking in a deep breath, it felt good to take a break from all this and take a breath and not run around, blind.
