Chapter 7

The second I heard the sniffing I wrapped my arms around him. I didn't know what was going on or why but I wanted to comfort him.

We sat there like that for a while. Him crying and me holding him waiting for him to calm down a little or at least enough to form a sentence. 

When he finally began talking the words he said shocked me, "He's dead Carla. He's dead."

I looked at him in shock thinking about who could possibly be dead. No one came to mind I was momentarily speechless.

"Who is dead Samuel?" I asked cautiously

"Nano."he responded, "Nanos dead. He was hit by a car trying to leave the country. They hit him and left him to die on the side of the road."

"Oh Samuel I'm so sorry!!" I hugged him even tighter than before.

"He's death made me realize we never know when we're going to lose someone. Carla, I cant lose you and I can't be just friends."

I repositioned myself so instead of sitting beside/behind him I was on his lap. Staring intently into his eyes I thought over many different things for a minute.

After finalizing over the idea in my head I crashed my lips to his. Moving our lips together in a rhythm until he bit my bottom lip to separate my lips for his tongue to slide in. Our tongues fought for dominance and he surprisingly won. Taking my bottom lip in his teeth as we separated. He let it go for it to make a pop sound when my lips were back together.

We sat together me in his lap talking about random things to keep his mind off his brother. He was struggling to stay awake and talk to me at this point.

Five minutes later he fell asleep mid-sentence with a death grip on waist. I laid my head on his chest and let sleep take over my body as I took in everything that happened today.
