Don't run away (Taekook)

Chapter thirteen

Six years  later

"Min ho don't make me  run  after you. We have some  packing  to do."

"I'm  not sleepy  yet. Why  don't you  go and  give  it to Junie,he is also  four eyed like  me. "the  boy continued to run around  the couches. Jungkook  was  running after  him  with  his  eye drop.

"If you  keep  this  up I'm  going  to leave  you here alone  and  take  Junie with me  to Korea. He listens  to me every time .He  isn't naughty like you "

"Papa ,you are  so mean .Why  do I get  the  eye  drop and Junie dosent "

"It's  because  his eyes  don't  hurt  like yours"Jungkook  knelt  before  his son with a smile  pestered on his face.

"But  why  does he wear glasses like  I  do?"he  pouted.

"It's because  you wear  them.He  is your  brother and he  likes to do whatever  you  do. Come  on let's  put  you  to bed so I can apply  your  eye drop. We have  a plane to catch  tomorrow ,remember  "Jungkook  held  the  boy's hand leading  him  into  their  room.

"Why do we have to there. I like  it here ?"Min ho whined as he swinged Jungkook 's arm.

"You  guys have to go to elementary  school  remember "

"I just hope that the  girls  aren't  mean and  annoying like the girls at kindergarten  here "Min ho said  as he  jumped  on to his  bed that was besides his brother 's.

"If they annoy you it means  they  like  you "Min Jun grinned from his  bed.

"Papa,that's  yucky "Min ho  gagged.

"Okay, guys  go and  brush  your  teeth and change  into  your  pjs. You know the  drill.We gonna  have  a long  day tomorrow "

"Is uncle Jinie coming  with us?"Min jun asked  as they were  going to their  bathroom.

"He  will  come  but  now he has some  work  to do"

"Are  we flying  first  class?"

"Minie,Papa dosent have  that  kind  of money "Min Jun answered.

"I'm  just asking "

"Okay, off  you  go .I will be waiting  here for you  to tuck you  in"

"Yay!"they yelled  in unison while rushing off  to grab their  toothbrushes.

Jungkook  sat on one  of the beds ,deep in thoughts. He had  made it.It felt  like  yesterday  when  he first held their frigal limps and caressed their downy head.Nothing  gave him  emense  happiness  more  than  looking  at his  children 's faces.Their  happiness was also  his happiness.  The  fact that  they  were Taehyung 's duplicates didn't bother him at all.

They  might  look  like the same  person but  they  were  very  different. Min ho was  the  most  cheerful, the most  sensitive  and  the  least intelligent  of the  two. When  they  were  still  babies  he woke  up his  brother  because  he was  super loud. Jungkook would always  wish  that  Min Jun would wake  up first  because  he wasn't  as loud and he  wouldn't  wake  the  other  up.

On the other hand  Min Jun  was like  the  quite  ,strong, serious and  super  intelligent  older  brother. He had  always  been  a sleepy head since  his  birth. He  had  only  one  weakness  and  that  was  Min ho. He  was  especially  protective  of him. Throughout kindergarten he  had  always been  his  shield.

One  time  in kindergarten  ,one  of them  broke  a window  but they never  sold each  other  out. It remained  a mystery until  today. Their bond was  really  strong. Jungkook  paid  for  the  broken window and didn't question them about who had done  it.The  only thing that  these twins  had in common was  their passion for  music.

When Jungkook arrived  in China had found a four roomed house to rent.It was affordable if not free.The  money he had was  enough to take care of  himself  and his sons for  four years. He  had  told  his family about whatever  had  happened. They  were  being  morally  and  financial supportive. They would visit at least  once  a year  trying  to convince him  to move back  home but he wasn't having it so they decided to let the  matter rest.

When the  twins  turned four he  got them  enrolled  in a  kindergarten. He had decided  to get  a job  at a hospital. He was  lucky enough to get  hired  at a hospital that  had  a shortage  of doctors. It wasn't one of the best  hospitals but  it was managedable  .While working there  he got  acquainted  with a fellow Korean doctor  Kim Seokjin. They  became  close  through  the  years. He  was  so fond  of the twins that  he would look after them when Jungkook  was  working  night shift. The boys also  got  attached  to him. It was as if Jin  was  a part  of their  family 

After  two years of going  to kindergarten, the twins  had  to start  elementary  school and that was  when Jungkook  decided  to move  back  home. He wasn't no longer  afraid of Taehyung. This time around  he was  afraid to face him  with everything  he  has got.

Jungkook watched as the pair came out of the bathroom and changed  into  their matching pj. When  they were  done they jumped  into their respective beds.

Jungkook  took  the  eye drop and  went  over  to Min ho 's bed.

"Papa"he  whined.

"Oh come on Minie open  your  eyes. "

Min ho opened his eyes and Jungkook  smiled before  putting  eye drop into  his eyes.

"It stinks "

"Minie stop  being  such a cry baby "Min Jun teased.

"Okay, good night "Jungkook pecked Min ho 's forehead before doing the  same  to Min Jun.

"Sleep tight. Please don't give me a hard time  waking you up tomorrow  morning "Jungkook said as he switched  off the lights.

"We won't "they  yelled.

"Junie ,do you think that we will see him? "

"I don't know Minie ,Papa hasn't talked about  him but they seemed really close  on the photo. "

"Why does he  look  like  us?"

"Minie, let's not  talk about it .Papa might not want us to talk about it"

"Is that why  he tore his picture up"Min ho asked.

"Maybe. Good night, Minie.I'm  sleepy "

"Night "

Jungkook  was  standing behind the  door  listening to his  sons'  conversation. He  wondered if he would ever  the  courage to tell  them about their father. Soon  enough  they  would start asking  questions.Raising  them up alone  was  hard  enough .He  would keep  them  as far away as possible  from Taehyung .

Jungkook went to his  room  to call Jimin. They  had kept  in touch ever since  Jungkook  left  S.K.

He sat on his  bed and  reached for  his phone that was on the nightstand.

"Hyung "

"Jungkook. ...how are you? "

"You  sound busy  so I'm going to keep  this short "

"I  was busy but  not anymore. Yoongi can  wait. So what's up"

"Have  you  checked  the  place  yet?.We are  flying in tomorrow .The boys get  really  cranky if they  have to wait  long. I just hope  I'm  not imposing on you. "

"It's  okay  Jungkook. Everything  is in place. I can't  wait  to finally  see them  in person. They  look cute in photos I'm sure they look  even  better  in person "

"Thanks Hyung. I will see you  tomorrow then. "

"Wait   Taehyung. ..."

"Hyung  what  about  him? I told  you  not to say  anything  about  him  to me unless you want  to tell  me  he is dead "

"Salty  much "

"I'm  hanging up."

Jungkook threw  his  phone  on the bed. If it weren't because of his children 's future  he wouldn't have to go back.

Wry of his  bad thoughts Jungkook did  some  last time  packing.
