E L I A S 'S POV
I walked out of Graces room, thinking to myself about what was going to do with her. I pulled out my business phone, calling Alessandro.
"Ciao."
"Alessandro I'm calling a meeting, round everyone up and meet me in my office in five."
"Is that all?"
"That's all."
With that, I hung up and made my way up to my office finding my inner circle sitting down at a long table I have in my office. They all stood when I entered the room and sat when I sat.
"I assume everyone knows this meeting is about the girl named Grace Highland."
Everyone nodded.
"Earlier today I had managed to settle an agreement with her father. He would give me six million in return for his daughter. I spoke to Grace about this and she's given me some interesting reasons to believe that he will not be giving the money to us."
"Has she given any proof of what she claims?" Luigi, the man I had regrettably sent to get Grace, asked.
"Yes."
The way she spoke about her father and fiancé was something you couldn't just fake, you could see her emotions swirling in her dull eyes. It gave me a reason to believe that the cause of the cut on her thigh was either her father or fiancé.
"Also I believe she is in an abusive relationship between her father and her fiancé."
"And when did that start mattering to you?" Luigi once again spoke up.
I glared at him.
"I've helped many woman Luigi, just because she lied to me to protect herself does not mean we can't do anything to help her."
"No disrespect Elias but me and your father have come to believe that you are getting too... Soft."
The way he was leaned back in his chair, with his hands folded in his lap as if he were a king said otherwise about disrespecting me.
The room went dead silent.
I was getting sick of his behaviour, just because he was under my father's protection he thought he was above everyone else, that included me.
I glared at him as I spoke with a strong but low voice. "Do not ever question what I do for women and take it as a sign of weakness from me."
He only chuckled not taking me seriously.
From the corner of my eye, I noticed Andre move ever so slightly but I had no doubt he now had a gun in his hand, ready to shoot Luigi straight in the head.
I rested my hand on the table, a sign for him to stand down.
"I want options, ways that will keep her safe as well as getting the money her father owes us"
Alessandro spoke up "I think I may know away."
