"This is lovely," I said, staring in awe at the variety of flowers and tree.

"It is isn't it," Elias said watching me with his hands behind his back, walking at a slow pace while I danced around him.

I stopped when I felt light headed, swaying on the spot slightly. "Woah there, you better calm down mi amore," Elias warned, holding me to his chest so that I was stable.

I smiled up at him sheepishly, "thank you."

He kissed my fore head before turning and hooking his arm through mine, both of us continuing at a slower pace.

"I've been thinking–"

I hummed, looking up at him.

"–I don't ever want to lose you again Grace, I want you right by my side so that I can protect you from whatever comes our way. I don't want to leave you, this right here and right now is everything to me Grace. I love you so much that it hurts," he chuckled, "Its strange, a mafia leader saying such things but it is true. I want us to face and overcome any challenges God throws at us, no matter how difficult."

He swivled himself in front of me, kneeling on the ground in front of me. No way! Is he really asking me to–

"Grace Julia Marie Valentino, will you marry me?" he asked, pulling out a small box where inside was a small danty ring with a small diamond, it was beautiful!

I started at him in shock. A mafia leader as powerful as Elias was kneeling before me as if I were some Queen asking to marry him, who in my eyes is a God of sorts.

"I- I yes. Yes I accept," I stamered, smiling brightly at him. He placed the ring on my finger before he stood abruptly and picked me up, twirling me around as we kissed with smiles on our faces, I giggled loudly as he continued to spin me around.

Never in my life would I have thought this would ever happen. It all changed when Elias entered that restaurant, brooding and intimidating and now I see him as a soft yet hard person who would do anything for his family. His loyalty to them was really admirable and soon I would officially be apart of that family.

He picked me up bridal style, making me giggle even louder. He ran back to the mansion, bursting inside without a care in the world before he yelled out, "she said yes! We're getting married!"

Maria was the first one who rushed into the room closely followed by Vanessa.

"What is this I hear! Your getting married!"

"She said yes," Elias stated proudly.

"Give me a hug you two, that's amazing," Vanessa said jumping at us and wrapping her arms around the two of us.

After informing everyone about it Elias and I planned that we would wed as soon as possibly which would be at the end of this week. Maria and Vanessa were our wedding planners and were working all the time to plan the wedding.

Angelica had pulled me over sometime that day and told me some life changing new, I wasn't all to surprise about it but I was still filled with joy.

"So, when are you two going to give me some great grandchildren, I'm getting old you know, I won't be here for bloody ever," Maria asked during dinner.

Now would be the best time to tell everyone, when we were all here. I hadn't even told Elias of the news yet. Angelica gave me a reassuring smile with a nod of her head.

"Well actually, I am pregnant."

The room was dead silent.

"Oh good lord, this is too much in one day!" Maria said, standing up and embracing me in a warm hug, "bless you Grace, I just knew you were the right one to join this family."
