"I miss you Grace." There was such sadness in his voice, it made me want to cry. But I was too exhausted to do that.
Although my mouth felt strange, and I felt drained, I still forced myself to talk. I was finally out of my lifetime of nightmares and it was all because of Elias. He helped me come back, all I had to do was follow his voice or the melody of the piano.
"What do you mean? I'm right here," I said, weakly.
His head snapped up, his eyes wide as he started at me for what felt like forever before he stood up and stepped next to me bed, bending down and wrapping his arms around me body, pulling me up to his chest.
"You're really awake."
I smiled lightly, "Of course I am."
He hugged me tighter.
"How long have I been out for? I feel like shit."
"Almost two weeks," he said, his words muffled from my neck.
"How? What happened?"
"I'll tell you all of the information later, are you hungry? I can make some food. Or if your tired we can just lay here, maybe you want a wash. I can run a bubble bath for you?"
I pulled back from him slightly, just enough so that I could kiss his soft lips.
"Elias, you don't need to worry anymore, I'm awake."
He frowned, brushing my hair out of my face. "I can't stop worrying about you–"
"Elias, come on we–"
My eyes shot to the now open door, where both Alessandro and Andre stood. I smiled at the two.
"Hey."
There was a pause as they gawked at me.
"You're awake! Finally. We were so worried about you," Andre rushed as he he came into the room, giving me a firm hug. He was soon followed by Alessandro.
"Okay boys, give her some air would you, she's still feeling weak at the moment."
"I know now isn't the best of times Elias, but we have Miss Aria Rosa waiting for us in the lounge room."
I raised a brow at Elias in question.
"She's a former Valentino member."
"What is she doing here?"
"She knows more about the lay out of that place better than we do, so I convinced her to come and speak with us."
"I want to be a part of this conversation."
"No, absolutely not. You just woke up, don't trouble yourself with these problems."
I grabbed his hand, giving it a small squeeze.
"I want to be by your side when your working, I want to help and be apart of whatever project your working on, no matter what it is."
He sighed.
"You need to rest."
"I've rested for almost two weeks."
His hand tightened around mine, both of us staring into each others eyes, having a mental battle.
He sighed, "fine, bring her up here and can you get Grace some food please."
Both Andre and Alessandro nodded, leaving the room with a smile flashed towards me. In the next couple of minutes a hot bowl of pasta was brought up to me, along with Aria Rosa.
