"Grace," I heard someone whisper by my face.

I opened my eyes, which were heavy with sleep. I blinked the blurriness away and looked at the mans face in front of me. I noticed how wonderful their eyes looked, making me feel like I wanted to stare at them forever.

It took me a few moments before I actually realised the man I was staring at was Elias, which oddly surprised me more than a guy being in my room.

I sat up quickly and rubbed my eyes to see if I was dreaming. But I found myself still looking at Elias who was crouched beside my bed.

He stood, "dinners ready downstairs and I brought up your bag."

I nodded still surprised from waking up so close to him.

"Sorry if I surprised you," he said walking to the door.

"Don't worry about it?" I said coming out of my surprise, "I'll be down in ten, I'm just going to have a quick shower."

He nodded and walked out of my room. With my heart still racing I walked to my bathroom, seeing my duffel bag on the counter.!I opened it and pulled out a red silk nightgown, with lace lining the hem and the deep neckline.

I frowned.

I'm sure I didn't pack this. Well, I did pack my other pyjama's.

Looking in the duffel bag again I started to panic when I couldn't find the other pyjama's I packed but instead more nightgowns like the red one, and booty shorts and a crop top.

"Vanessa," I groaned as my face fell.

I held up the red nightgown again and frowned at it. There was no way I could wear this to dinner!

I sighed.

I could just go down in what I was wearing, but I was all sweaty and I felt really yuk. I groaned and undressed, stepping into the shower stall, I let the warm droplets of water fall on me.

After my shower, I dried myself down and stood in front of the mirror dreading to put the nightgown on. Usually, I would love to put on something so daring and sexy but there was just something that made me nervous about wearing it infringes of Elias.

There was a knock on my bedroom door, giving me no choice but to put the gown on before rushing to the door.

"You were taking a while so I thought I'd check on–" Maria abruptly stopped as she stared at me, a grin immediately making away on her face, "– my, my, darling. You look like you'll be spending a night in Elias's bedroom."

My eyes widened and my face heated up at her words "N-no. No. No," I rushed, "Vanessa took out all my pyjama's I put in and swapped them for this and more."

"More! Darling looking like that Elias is bound to do something, and if he doesn't he's a stupid man," she said, mumbling some more things in Italian that I didn't understand.

"I don't mean to draw attention to me," I said with a frown.

"I'm not trying to say it like that dear," she said rubbing my shoulder.

"But if Vanessa really does want you both to be together, you have definitely made an impression on her."

"But I don't like him," I said with a frown.

She huffed and mumbled something in Italian.

"I'll tell Vanessa to stop being a matchmaker and I'll let you figure it out for yourself. Now come on our food will get cold," she said, grabbing my hand and basically dragging me downstairs, I'm glad she did otherwise I don't think I would have ever gotten down there.

She let go of my hand as we walked into the dining room, leaving me to stand like a statue as she walked to the head of the table.

Elias looked up at me making a blush rise to my cheeks and I found myself biting my bottom lip. His eyes widened slightly and his back straightened as he looked at me, then he looked at Maria as if accusing her of my outfit. Maria only smiled brightly and shook her head.

"Come sit my dear," she said, patting the table where I was meant to sit, which was opposite of Elias.

Biting my lip harder I forced my legs to move, it was hard as I felt Elias's burning gaze on me.
I sat and cleared my throat. Maria acted if we weren't currently sitting in a very awkward situation and instead plated up her food.

A moment later Elias did the same, ignoring my attire. Dinner felt extremely long, although it really was about an hour.

Once I was finished helping Maria with the dishes I immediately went back the way I remembered coming, hearing footsteps behind me I looked back to find Elias.

I raised my brow.

"Stalking me are you," I joked.

He rolled his eyes, "my rooms just up ahead from yours."

"Oh," Was all I replied.

I bit my lip not knowing if I should speed up to get out of this situation faster or slow down so that it didn't look like I was uncomfortable. I found myself slowing down so that I was beside Elias, who was walking with his hands in his pockets.

"So, what are we doing tomorrow?"

"I'll be catching up with some work and checking in on Alessandro, you can do whatever you please."

"Oh... so nothing."

He chuckled, "pretty much."

"Well I could always hang out with your grandma's friends," I joked with a light laugh.

He rolled his eyes but kept a smile on his face. Shortly after we came to a halt at my door, I turned my head to him with a smile on my face

"I guess, I'll see you around tomorrow."

"Maybe," he said with a small smile of his own.

"Goodnight Elias."

"Goodnight."

With that I opened my door and stepped into my room, closing the door behind me I walked to my bed and dropped onto the covers. I sighed and stayed in that position, just thinking as I slowly drifted off to sleep.
