There was another shot, breaking a glass vase nearby.

"What are we going to do?"

"Wait him out, the police will be here soon and that's when we'll make our run."

He was right. Whoever this was, their aim was too accurate to leave now.

"Why do you think they shot you leg?"

"I was in the way, they probably wanted me to move is all."

A moment later, police sirens could be heard outside.

"Do you think he's gone?"

"Not yet, we'll wait a bit longer."

He looked into my eyes, a smirk playing at his lips.

"What?"

"Are you scared?"

"Of course I am! We could die." I flinched at the sound of another shot. He tightened his grip on me ever so slightly, rubbing a shooting hand down my back.

"Lets talk about something else, to get your mind off of it."

"How am I supposed to–"

"Are you a virgin?" he asked, cutting me off.

"What kind of question is that!"

"The kind of question where you answer."

I pouted, "I don't want to."

"Why not?"

"Because!"

"So, you are one, then."

I looked away, only for him to cup my chin gently and turn my head to face him again.

"Hey, being a virgin dosen't matter."

"Of course it does, I'm inexperienced." I snapped, a blush quickly forming on my face.

"Well I could always teach you things."

I sighed.

"Dont say things you don't mean."

He frowned.

"And what if I do mean them."

And what if he did!

Shit, I have butterflies.

I snapped my head towards the window, police sirens much more evident.

"I think the police are here," I said, if anything to change the subject. I couldn't deal with these feelings right now.

"Run, run to the door now."

With wide eyes, I stood, quickly making a break for the door. Elias followed soon after.

"Okay, let's go before they find out I gave them a fake ID."

I nodded.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me through the chaos of panicked people.

"Where are we going?" I asked after we were at a safe distance from the hotel.

"The airport."

"Are we leaving England already!"

"Its not safe for you here anymore."

"And what about your leg?"

"The maid on board the jet will fix me up."

I frowned, biting my lip as I glanced down at his injury.

"How do you think they knew we were here?"

"Julian, maybe?"

"Maybe."

I looked down at my hands, resting in my lap. Both of them were shaking. Looking over to Elias's on the steering wheel I noticed that they were steady. I suppose he's used to it.

The ride was quiet after that. Only sparking up when we were at the air strip. I frowned when I saw that it was an empty strip, with no expensive jet waiting for us.

"Where's the jet?"

"I forgot to call them to bring it out."

"So, we have to wait now."

He nodded. "Three hours probably."

I sighed.

"Im just going to make a call."

I nodded, watching as he exited the car. With another sigh I lowered my seat, closing my eyes. I opened them half an hour later, when Elias opened the door.

"That was a long call."

"I had to check in with Alessandro and Andre."

I nodded in understanding.

"So tell me a bit about what you plan to do."

He leaned back into his seat, running his hand through his hair.

"Well, Andre has to be killed."
