Chapter 6: New Plan

"THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!"
"Yellow! Please! Clam down! She's had tantrums before, she'll come around!... she always does."
Blue rested her hand on Yellows shoulder. White was looking out the window overseeing the battle field. The grounds sparked with the millions of shards, but one sparked more then the rest. Pink. White turned around to face the other Diamonds who were yelling back and forth. She massaged her temples before raising her voice, catching the attention of both.
"Will you two... SHUT UP!"
They both turned back around facing White. They apologized before White went back to looking out the window, watching as the small pink gem ran across the battlefield proofing and bubbling remaining warriors. She scoffed.
"Pinks on her way let's prepare for her, shall we?"

The small group of rebells snuck through the empty halls of the palace bubbling every Topaz guard they saw. Spinal giggled as she poofed the fusion of 3 ruby guards, standing behind the rubies was a sapphire.
"A sapphire!"
Spinal laughed as she playfully lunges at the small blue gem. She didn't bother moving.
Poof!
"This is so much fun Pink! But..."
Her smile faded. Pink bubbled the 4 gems as Pearl and Garnet kept watch down the hall.
"What's wrong, Spinal?"
"C-can we play a different game? This has been fun but... I think I won already."
"But Spinal! We're almost done!"
"I... this feels wrong."
Pink stood up, looking down on her playmate. She frowned.
oh no... Pinky... please don't be mad.
"Please Spinal... do this for me. You want me to be happy, right?"
"O-of course I do! I'd do anything for you to be happy."
This made Pink smile. But for Pearl and Garnet? This was the next step driving Pink into madness.
"That's good to hear! Now come on, this games far from over."
Pink took Spinals hand as she begun walking down the hall. Pearl was about to start following behind Pink again before Garnet stopped her.
"G-Garnet? What's wrong?"
"We can't keep doing this! She's using that Spinal like a toy!"
Pearl let out sigh before taking Garnets hands in her's.
"She's always been this way, you know... one thing doesn't go her way and everyone pays the price. We don't seem to have a choice but to follow her lead right now, I'm sorry."
Pearl tried to pulled away but Garnet tightened her grip. They made eye contact.
"Let's rebel."
"W-what?! We can't!"
"But we can! This isn't right! None of this is! I have a plan, please just hear me out."
The fear that crawled through Garnets voice was nerve wracking. She's never spoken with such fear, so desperate.
"Ugh, fine! What is it."
Garnet let out a breath before continuing.
"We need to... we need to shatter all the Diamonds."
Pearl pulled herself away, pushing Garnet away as well. Her breathing got heavy and tears began to form.
"What?! No! Why would we EVER do that?!"
"It's the only way! We can shatter them and take the Spinal! We can go live happily on another planet somewhere far away from here!"
"No! Absolutely not! We could never succeed! They're too powerful!"
"But we can succeed! I foresee it."
"Wh-What?"
Pearl jumped as she felt a hand grip her shoulder. Pink. Her eyes were worried.
"Pearl, Garnet, what are you still doing here? We need to finish our game! We don't want to keep the Diamonds waiting, do we?"
Pearl looked at Pink before averting her eyes to Spinal who held on tightly to Pinks hand.
"O-of course... lets go."
Pink smiled before letting Pearl walk ahead, she switched her gaze to Garnet. Her eyes became cold as she looked beyond the visor and into her eyes.
"Whatever you told her... it better not have been some plan to ruin our happily ever afters, you hear?"
"You don't have to worry, My Diamond."
" I better not... now c'mon! We don't wanna lose our game!"
Pink turned around and began walking down the hall giving praise to Pearl who continued to poof and bubble gems as they ran towards them. Garnet began to slowly follow them, feeling herself wanting to pull apart.
This isn't right... this needs to end, one way or another.
